erm...no i mean...how to check my firmware version ???

Hi there. Am new to this section of the forum.
My friend lately introduce me to LX-3.
I was wondering if anyone know where is the best place to get this cam at the best price?
The picture quality really look awesome.

Both are class 4 only?

the dude was kind enough to gave me a Canon pouch instead lol.

pretty big, even have an extra compartment to put the rest of my stuff(card reader,lenspen mini, optical cloth, white card).

or you can go to carrefour and pick one of their own camera case. i heard its pretty cheap and not bad for the price lol.

o...guys...for the free tripod i got...the top part where u mount/screw in ur camera...beside it got 1 pointy stuff...round ...can be pressed down but it will go up if not pressed...how do i mount my lx3 on it...i scared the round thing can scratched my camera..

the base shud be removable. try to search for a lever. what model is ur tripod?

the above is not my model...but the base is similar...u guys can see the small pointing stuff beside the screw base...that is the thing i mention...when i screw in my lx3...that thing can scratch it...what should i do???

tengok the lever at the side. pull that, pull the base out. then tighten from the bottom to ur camera.

ya...when u say tighten means i need to screw in deeper right...when screwing the thing will turn round 1 mar..then can scratch the lx3 le...

honestly, don't understand you ler.

which part scratch where?

if u remove the base, underneath shud have the thing to turn the screw.

YEAH! I heard! lol. In the beginning, I thought I should get those well-known brand like Nikon, Canon etc. But my friend say LX-3 is the best I can get =)
mind if I ask where u get urs? I stay at USJ btw. Any place I can try my luck? Like lowyat etc?

wont scratch the camera.
i used those type before. it's a rubber rounded head and u can press it down when u screw ur camera.

bought mine at Summit. beside the reject shop punya camera shop. now shud be sold out though. when i bought that time left 3 more jer. samore they having promotion

at 1st, i wanted to buy adapter with filter to protect...then the guy told me to buy the crystal lens coz it is cheaper...now i regretted it... if i take the crystal glass out..will it damage...will it be hard to take if off??

really? cuz i got some points online to change for lx3, i can change for 8... maybe wanna sell...but i go order one for myself 1st to see they got give memory card or not.
