if me...

1) zoom to 60mm
2) use A mode, set to 2.8
3) experiment with angles smile.gif
4) make sure ur background is pretty much empty
5) dun use built-in flash... maybe can use table lamp or something. nicer if u diffuse

can2 smile.gif

1) if u're using 24mm, will create distortion if the subject is too near to the lens. sometimes this is bad, sometimes is good lah. actually need to find balance, but i just recommend 60mm since u get less background as possible. refer to (4)

2) f2.8 is the biggest aperture u can set at 60mm. this one gives the blur effect u normally see for macro shoots smile.gif

3) er dunno how to explain. sometimes shooting higher is better, sometimes lower is better, etc

4) if background too cluttered, it becomes a distraction and robs attention from the main subject

5) built-in flash sucks for indoors. better use other light source to light up ur subject. diffuse so the light look more natural
