I've heard people here taking all those BSN, EAS etc, not that I'm telling that supps are the most important thing in training, just want to see what supps everyone else is having.
For me, I stick with the basics, ON whey, oatmeal, creatine, fish oil, milk powder, and my postworkout secret supp: honey (not pictured, coz I just finished it) Just bought the whey and creatine today because I finished my whey and I need to start on creatine again since my poundage has been low for almost a year. Costed me RM557 for the 10lbs whey (RM378) and the 1kg creatine (RM179). ![]() |

QUOTE(jamis @ Oct 26 2009, 08:44 PM) ops sorry dude didnt know u r from Melaka. hehe but i understand tat kind of feeling, i ever get my supplement from ebay last time lol. Well, Ego would earn like fuk if they had a branch here, because a lot of hardcore people are training in Melaka, plus those rich Middle Easterns with superior genetics from MMU would spend their money on supps and juice. So they should start a branch in Melaka and Penang, too many branches around KL already. Can compete with the only GNC store in Melaka at Mahkota Parade. This post has been edited by Florian: Oct 26 2009, 10:02 PM |

I don't understand why some people come to the gym wearing a jacket over a T-shirt/tank top/singlet, then take the jacket off, train, sweat, then wear back the jacket and leave the gym after training. It's not like we live in a 4 season country where it's cold outside, plus the clothing is soaked in sweat and he's wearing a nice jacket over it. I don't see how wearing a jacket over a wet T shirt would make it any more comfortable or would help the sweat evaporate faster.

QUOTE(FirstOne @ Oct 27 2009, 02:33 PM) I got that creatine too, just to compare, how did you actually comsume that? i mean when or how many times per day? 1 heaping teaspoon pre and 1 more post.QUOTE(angrydog @ Oct 27 2009, 04:25 PM) As long as it isn't actively harming/endangering others, who the hell cares what random guys at the gym do with their clothes? LOL true, maybe I was just jealous because they do look hardcore and huge. |

QUOTE(euphoria88 @ Oct 28 2009, 12:05 AM) It makes you lose WATER weight, it's the fat weight you want to lose, the water keeps you alive, makes your blood flow, helps to burn the fat and builds muscle. I just don't understand why people want to go to sauna to dehydrate themselves. Please read/research more before making such unscientific statements and mislead others here. Many people forget to pay attention to their trapezuis aka trapz. It is the muscle that makes you look big besides your chest and back. There are also some people who train them but are doing it the wrong way ie rolling your shoulders instead of doing a proper shrug.
It's actually an easily trained muscle (all you need to do is to shrug!) with quick noticeable results provided if you shrug the trapezius with the correct form, hold and squeeze it hard, go heavy and have proper protein intake. So here is some inspiration to properly train those traps. http://www.flexonline.com/traps_coleman_ja..._yates/news/993 ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Florian: Oct 30 2009, 01:12 AM |

QUOTE(iamyuanwu @ Oct 30 2009, 11:37 AM) Pasteurisation: Awesome or Complete Garbage? Yeah, I read a study done by feeding pasteurized and unpasteurized milk to rats, the one fed with unpasteurized milk has more mass than the rat fed with pasteurized milk. The rat with pasteurized milk looked like a cancer patient, while the rat with unpasteurized milk looked normal. At last some data and logical debate about milk pasteurisation, and it's possible health risk. Discuss, flame and troll about it. http://brianstpierretraining.com/index.php...mplete-garbage/ IMO, pasteurization is the only way to transport milk from place to place without spoiling the milk. If the milk is unpasteurized, companies would rugi because they have to replace their milk everyday plus not everyone would buy all the unpasteurized milk in the shop in one day. |

Lat pull downs, do you guys do it pull to the front of the shoulder or the the back of the shoulder?
For me I pull is to my chest with my chest arched and facing the ceiling. Pulling to the back doesn't look comfortable. |

QUOTE(axymax @ Nov 4 2009, 12:35 PM) Not investing yet, just doing some early research.. My advice to you is since you've just started off for 1 month, learn the proper form for all exercises, try to make training regularly a habit and spice up your diet.only been hitting the gym for about 1 month now.. |

QUOTE(de.crystal @ Nov 4 2009, 10:42 PM) trying to do deadlift today. Realise that my body was bengkok how to do it straight while doing deadlift? A wise way is to ask someone experienced in the gym to help you correct your form.cant do it like the one in the picture how ya ![]() But the main rule to get your back straight is to chest up and buttocks out. |

QUOTE(wadever @ Nov 8 2009, 08:03 PM) I wanna build upper body muscle. It's been a while...Autobots, mobilize.I do Everyday: 5x10 push up 5x10 crunches Alternate days: with 6kg dumbbell 3x10 bicep curl 3x10 ..... (forgotten what is it called. dumbbell behind your head and lift up and down for triceps lool) with 4.75kg 3x10 wrist curls facing up 3x10 wrist curls facing down SO. I'm more into getting slightly bigger and toned arms but what i really want is six packs. Am I doing it right? I'm 17 this year, 63kg and 175cm. I can see the vertical line dividing my stomach into half already. Will my routine allow me to add 2 more horizontal lines for a 6 packs? and how can I make my collarbone less visible? QUOTE(zaxxshoxx @ Nov 18 2009, 12:54 PM) which one you aaa... byk org besar2 sana..hahah.. im wearing black n glasses semalam.. arrive around 5.30 also... today also datang... u? Nah, won't be going there anymore. The gym is pretty but it's quite small la. Yesterday not that many people also I feel claustrophobic d, No Ez bar, no squat rack (the salesman don't even know what's a squat rack) and there's only 1 set of each equipement, have to wait and wait and wait...It's basically a pretty gym. From outside the place looks big because the whole gym's walls are covered with huge mirrors. No point having all the AC and sound system, studio shower etc when there's not enough equipment and so little gym space and have to cramp all the big buys and equipment in a store room.Plus the skinny salesmen at the counter staring at you like so eager to earn your money like that...I tak suka. Very disappointing. OHM better. This post has been edited by Florian: Nov 18 2009, 01:14 PM |
