Is 28-75 sleep.gif
I feel a little soft but some claim that it's a sharp lens.

Its like test driving Ferrari in ladang kelapa sawit with lopak and kerbau/lembu. After much testing, you conclude that Proton Karamjit is much faster than Ferrari!! shakehead.gif Ha ha ha. biggrin.gif

Actually ya, looking at all your test pics,ALL of them soft(blurry). Perhaps you're using too low shutter speed. Even with VR, the best it can do is maybe 3 stops down. Also, some people report that VR wont give you sharp pics 100% of the time. icon_idea.gif

Funny statement. I found it funny, but true.

I don't understand the dependance on VR... some people just swear by it... like it's some magical device that's gonna guarantee ultra sharp photos... to the point where they don't even realize that they are at an unrealistic shutter speed regardless of VR II, VR III, VR X.

Hi, I owned 16-85mm. Bought my D90 body then bought 16-85mm after that. This lens is sharp and has additional 2mm wider.

Check my flickr for more photos.
