a question to jerseyman or any other taikos out there,
Do they make an official version for 1992-1993 champions patch used by man utd?
I would like to purchase 1 at hob, but it looks like diy patch to me.

Nope.

They were never made one officially. You can still go ahead and have it. Because in the 1992-1993 season, they actually used PU typed EPL patches on the man united jerseys that were actually worn by players.

To be more accurate, you better use PU type EPL patches. It is sold at HOB as well....

The embroidery ones were not used by United in the 1992-1993 inaugural EPL season.

Using plastic cover is best if you hang your jersey outside, not in the closet. This is because the heat and moisture inside can cause the PU typed namesets or sponsors to stick on the surface of the plastic cover.

Best is to hang it outside with plastic cover.

For me, I don't have plastic cover because I always try to wear my jerseys in rotation....No specific schedule because my collection somehow increases slowly.

It's awfully expensive for those badges he is selling, except for those less popular leagues or tiny badges..

Ah.. for the kungfu jersey you can put either that patch or this one:

The embroidered one is for the 1994-1995 season. The velvet one is for the 1995-1996 season, the season where Cantona did that kungfu kick.

county_murchman? hey i even bought a matchworn shirt from Dave, what do u think? tongue.gif

as for the 2 shirts, looks ok to me...but for the 94-96 home, be careful if u wanna apply name. make sure they are players from season 1995-1996 only, since 1994-1995 season, they will use 1993-1994 Champions badge. Also if u can, try to ask for a clear image of the patch, cant tell from that pic.

Dave has contacts with many football clubs, mainly Aston Villa. And i agree we should support sellers like this wink.gif u should get more from him, for example his Deportivo kits are nice, too bad i cant find the nameset for that shirt thats why never buy from him...Liverpool fans would be a suscriber to his Liverpool PI kits, while i personally wait for his PI Aston Villa to come out each season. Also Limited Edition Holland box set is a must if u are looking for limited edition items...looks like i'm promoting him tongue.gif

yeah, looks real to me. good features, blue umbro size tag visible, plus fakes dun come in size L back then (there might not be a fake this close to ori back then anyway!)

All are real la...

The 94-96 home looks poor. The collars are totally faded. Better think twice.

Make sure you send the item to them using Pos Daftar or Pos Laju.

Pos Laju is a bit expensive because it is EMS.

But before you send it to them, get the correct amount of postage fee by checking at the Post Office.

Just make sure you've receipt the payment at your paypal account and insist on sending it using trackable shipping services. Don't use normal pos because the item might get missing later and it will be hard to claim back from pos malaysia.

Good luck.

Thanks for the advice jerseyman. Ok i will use EMS.. Let's say if i use EMS and i have the proof of postage, but if the buyer claims that he did not receive the jersey, will the buyer get the full refund and i sustain the full loss?

No, you will be safe if the buyer raise it to Resolution Center. That is why it is vital to use trackable postage services such as pos laju or pos daftar.

EMS is a bit expensive.. I think might be RM50-RM70 but a bit faster than pos daftar (registered mail). The main important aspect is that you use a trackable pos services. Then keep the tracking code and receipts to save your ass later.
