those pics are from kitbag.com, easy to copy and paste. Honestly i wouldnt even think of buying items from ebay or LYN whose seller uses these images to sell their stuff. If i want to buy, seller have to show me the real thing.

QUOTE(rooneybeckham @ Aug 31 2009, 10:43 AM)
can somebody verify me with these below:

1. http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/Pre...oduct_info.html

Is this worn during 99/00 champion league campaign? with 2 stars at man utd logo?

2.  http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/Pre...oduct_info.html

when did man utd player wear this jersey?

3. How does 98/99 champion league final jersey look like? can show any pic?

thanks rclxms.gif
*
1. The winners jersey is being worn for 1999-2000 after the 1999 treble season.
2. This jersey is being used from1998-2000, but IINM the embroidery are just commemorative. not sure if players wear this before with embroidery, schmikes will be able to answer this smile.gif
3. The final shirt is the same as the normal UCL jersey, except the embroidery "UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE THE FINAL 1999" on top of the UMBRO.

county_murchman? hey i even bought a matchworn shirt from Dave, what do u think? tongue.gif

as for the 2 shirts, looks ok to me...but for the 94-96 home, be careful if u wanna apply name. make sure they are players from season 1995-1996 only, since 1994-1995 season, they will use 1993-1994 Champions badge. Also if u can, try to ask for a clear image of the patch, cant tell from that pic.

Dave has contacts with many football clubs, mainly Aston Villa. And i agree we should support sellers like this wink.gif u should get more from him, for example his Deportivo kits are nice, too bad i cant find the nameset for that shirt thats why never buy from him...Liverpool fans would be a suscriber to his Liverpool PI kits, while i personally wait for his PI Aston Villa to come out each season. Also Limited Edition Holland box set is a must if u are looking for limited edition items...looks like i'm promoting him tongue.gif

yeah, looks real to me. good features, blue umbro size tag visible, plus fakes dun come in size L back then (there might not be a fake this close to ori back then anyway!)

So far, known games with the grey keeper kit is the match against Manchester City and another against Fluminese. Both are youth games, and i am unable to find pictures for them, only youtube videos. another issue about this shirt is the colour of the nns used. In the fluminese game, videos show black while it is white in the City game. Then again, videos aren't clear so i cannot confirm 100%, this is from my naked eye's view.

last but not least, this shirt features MUFC at the back, but funnily the AIG sponsor is not smaller than replica. so another issue with this shirt is about it's usage, is it meant for EPL, UCL or none (as backup)? don't forget that MU have the blue, black and green shirt already used, so the grey shirt might be produced for a very unlikely event the other 3 colours clashed with opponent's outfield and goalie kit (take fluminese for example, the shirt they wear in that youth game is so colouful!). But an appearance of this shirt without the MUFC at the back suggests there are multiple versions of this shirt after all, so now i am left wondering again hmm.gif

U can get it here for £105.20 for price excluding VAT including shipping, but for Malaysian buyers will definitely got tax unless u're lucky:

http://shop.fcbarcelona.com/stores/barcelo...tid=&bid=9&nav=

Funny, when i buy it earlier last month, shipping is ruoghly GBP12 but now it's GBP18...so when i buy it, the price is £98.90.

A few emerged in eBay and Replicaroom, but don bother with them as they probably got it from Barca store as well, and sell it for double the price (around GBP200)

Saw 1 ebay seller at SG selling ManUtd kit with printing only @ S$79, but he only got size M & XL. I msg him ask for other size, he replied me this.
Dear ic3rock,

Hi, Nike do not produce all sizes in same factory. In order to prevent imitations, they will assige different factory to produce their jerseys. If i have all sizes means i get it from imitations factory. Thanks

dun believe this bullocks. 0 feedbacks and selling M and XL, even if he is speaking the truth i also wont go near his items. Besides, his Nike swoosh looks more like a hockey stick, andthe AIG looks very close to the black chevron. compare it to ur actual jersey to see the right distance. plus this one doesnt even seem to have the black nike tag at the bottom sweat.gif

wah really? damn tongue.gif

this guy only sells these two jerseys.
from the pics looks good. free shipping to malaysia somore.
i'm thinking of getting. says ebay covers the purchase.
that means if fake will be refunded rite? since he used "nike".
*
i believe this is the asian version of the kit, which can be considered as "reject" . The quality is not as good as those for Europe market, as the printings (AIG, Nike Sphere Dry) will tend to come of, like what happened to my Nike Shere Dry at the back of the shirt, come off halfway. not yet try to iron it back again tongue.gif

Seems like all these shirts come from Korean sellers, as i got mine from one as well. Nearly believe it is fake, but a few members from my-fjc told me about it.

Yes, the Newcastle sponsor is Flock or Lextra like material. Only the box is flock though, the word "NORTHEN ROCK" is some sort of like the 3D material for UCL starball if u get what i mean.

Added on September 22, 2009, 12:12 ambtw, does anybody know the material on the original euro 2008 patch?

PU or felt?
*
Both.

Nike teams will use PU ones while other teams use Lextra made.

@deadman_inc

the euro 2008 should be lextra, however am not really sure about Nike's being PU (as per pyroboy1911) as i've never really seen the real euro 2008 plus respect patches.  safest bet is lextra.

as for the boh-s, can't really remember when was it first worn, but i'd imagine circa 2000 (from my kits).  but it could be earlier, as i do remembr the UCL patches were worn since 1996 IINM.

as for the colour of BOHs, from my observation, most teams are sporting the darker version already, with the exception of Ajax and Bayern.  maybe some other experts here can help you with this question.

good luck!
*
aw13, if u still remember Subside did sell EURO08 patches before? they are PU. according to what Ian told me, Nike teams have been using PU Euro08 badges since 2000 if i am not mistaken. Thats why for example if u check out HoB, they have both Lextra and PU Euro badges.

@pyroboy1911 - thanks for the clarification, we learn something new everyday! thing is, if Nike uses PU for Euro 2008, what about Respect?  Lextra? Then it'll be inconsistent I think.  My 2 cents.
*
for the Respect patch i do not know yet, by my bet would be lextra as well. And i have no idea why nike teams use PU Euro badge while other teams use Lextra, and also Nike teams in WC tournament, they still use Lextra. But indeed i did look at some pictures (not conclusive, but at least a general idea), for example i looked at pics of Holland during Euro2004, the badge part on the sleeve seems to crumple easily when the players swing their arms when running. normally for Lextra, that area will be damn flat coz it's hard to bed Lextra. hope you get what i meant tongue.gif

Regarding the England shirt, those pictures looked a bit dodgy to me. Here's a couple of pics i took of my shirt:

user posted image user posted image user posted image

1. Compare the details of the crest. I took a part of it to compare, see the lion's nails and also the flowers. The one i have looks finer.
2. The serial tag looks identical, but look at the position of the button. Mine sits directly on top of the UMBRO logo and do not cover the wordings.
3. The biggest difference of all, the tag. Mine comes with the crest hologram which says Official Product, but the one tengyeow has do not have. Also, for the new England shirt, numberings are used for size (mine is 38) but the one tengyeow has is stated as "L".

I'm not sure if these differences can deem the one tengyeow has as fake or not, because differences 1 and 2 could be due to factory product reasons. but differences no3 is very major.

The washing tag is unique for this shirt. it is long and rectangular in shape, but it is attached to the button via a small button slot on top of it. So, you have the option to take it out by unhooking it from the spare button inside the shirt:

user posted image user posted image

there shouldnt be any small tag anymore behind the inner tag with button.

There is only one type of the Respect patch which is lextra-type. Below is a picture of a Euro 2008 match-worn Holland shirt from a Japanese collector.

thanks for the confirmation wongkwp! smile.gif

Also, now i have solid proof that the Euro08 patches for Nike (or at least Holland) is PU. indeed we learn new things each day smile.gif

and for those of you who want to see a Lextra version:

never worn in any matches, but i believe there are prototypes available around since jerseys designs usually out by mid season, while AIG sponsor change only happens at the end of season 05-06.
