i've recently bought a 1 year 2nd hand e71 set. the seller says its original, and he seems believable.

only 1 problem, the battery lasts for about 1day+

20-30 smses, avg calls, 10mins wifi, GSM mode only, no bluetooth.

Battery i believe its 1 year plus. does this mean that its time the battery about to die? if so if i were to change battery, an AP one (grade AAA) is ok onot? what is the downside of using grade AAA batts?

See whether the battery become fat or not, if yes, then have to change battery already.

for best performance, buy original...u wont regret it.

1 year old battery : lets say averagely 1 week he charge 2 times--> 1 month 8 times--> 12 month 96 times already.. tat is if he 1 week charge 2 times
mine average 1 week charge 4 times--> 1 month 16 times--> 12 month , 192 times already.. battery holding capacity goes down as u use..
for me i think urs is about times for a battery change liao..
my advice is always goes for ori battery, y? ap(regardless AAA, AA, A) battery will give u shitty life, some bought it and come back check it is only 600mah when ori is 1500mAh, most ap battery will giv u something less than 1500mAh de, sometimes (1400, 1486, etc) and they tend to last shorter..
to buy or not to buy those compatible and CLAIM to giv BETTER battery life de? price is same as ori? if not try lor, if same go for ori better ma at least got 6 month waranty..

original battery cost hundreds plus.
if it's less than that, then it's not original.

You can easily get Momax brand or Sun Global brand battery for less than RM50.
Of course, the performance will never beat the original battery.

ooohh u guys have any recommendation for sellers in lowyat taht is selling ori battery? or any shops around?

also another thing, how to check my e71 if its ap onot? besides those IMEI check, it has a Kelas C sticker, avaxx sticker.

Eh how much is the batt for 6230? My bf is using, so ancient! He bought it second hand like 3 years ago, i think the phone is probably 5 to 6 years old. Battery life on standby is 1 day

wah lau long time no log in so many xtra pages liow...
anyways I also own a 6230i, batt still can last give or take 2 days...
think Etrade PJ has, ori abt $80/- i think....

OMG...updated my firmware and my keypad 3 6 9 and left button above menu button not working...reinstalled firmware..result still remain...anyone accounted this prob..how to solve...mine AVAXX no warranty summore~!

those keypad seem dead...cant use even in homescreen or anywhere..

updated it lyke usual..be4 this ive updated all my previous nokia phone..and yesterday just realise my e71 so outdated..so i update from 101. firmware to lastest 400. ....everything seem fine..after that i restart da phone and still ok...(i didnt know weather ok or not tat time,didnt try out)..so straight away restore my backup...then i realise those keypad not working after i need to text email...

doing some research found out few of them faced same problem like mine but no solution...

do u think the keypad ic burn? or software?...

by da way i reinstall back the firmware...still...same~!

Sound like ic burnt..how long was d update process .. was it hot after d update? but u can ask other opinion..software mean firmware.. Rarely will it go wrong if urs is an ori set.. If software u will still be able to use de.. So 3,y is totally un press able.. if u cant type 3,y or Y totally mean hardware problem liao.. Firmware issue usually cause key mapping goes wrong only..

Dont like iPhone lar, i like to play Traffic Rush on it only. I prefer qwerty keypad. Plus, i always drop my phone, if drop touch screen phones ma jialat But digi's deal damn good!
