hi, I hve been using E'series mobile phones for a long time.
I currently own a E51 and 2x E71 and they all work fine, not problem free, BUT better then most
phones out there, dare i say so myself

Need HELP, I used Phone Switch to transfer all my contacts, sms, notes etc from my E51 to my E71 with the new SW update, but when I want to back up the E71, it says no content to back up, why is that?

yes it shows the contacts in phone memory, but cant back up .... sigh.....

THANKS bro, tried that too BUT it doesnt allow me to back up from my E51 which is stored in my laptop, dam sian now...
i dread to think I hve to key in 1,071 names into my phone

Ok SIFUz,

Its like this, my wife upgraded to Iphone (sigh) and I already have a E51+E71.
Since she no longer wants to use her E71, I thought I should pass my E51 to my Dad and
take over her E71 as well (I like it so much, sucker )

So instead of backing up the phone with Nokia PC Suite, I instead used Phone Switch which comes with most Nokia Phones.
The “content transfer between phones” was FAST, all my contacts, sms, mms, Notes and calendar was less then 6 minutes
in total, and I have about 1K plus contacts on my E51.

Now this is when my problem ( I think it is la) starts, I thought after all the transfers, I should back up my new E71
to my laptop (my old E71 back up to PC), but sadly it says no content to back up. I tried my previous E51 backup to
be saved into the E71, it too says (“now”) that the E51 has no content to back up! CIALAT…..

Reason Im asking for help is because, some contacts calls will be shown while some the name
doesn’t come out just the mobile number or office phone number. Like dat lorr…

So anyone can “help” me in my situasi? or just leave it as it is

p/s my other E71 in PC doesnt work either in the new E71 back up....

We kinda share the same problem, I had the same error message, BUT now,
after the KIND help from Bro attahun my problem solved...


THANKS TO EVERY SIFUz here who helped me overcome my problem (I sound like an alcoholic plak)

p/s 1020pm now, wifi surfing excellent, pictures & music back to normal....

Yes I hve tried from Ovi, but after awhile, it starts to lag and also have to pay
previously it will automatically connect to Maxis (got charged RM67.80) for internet usage, KNNCCB
so nw prefer to dwnload games right into memory and play....

I tried backing up my previous saved backup file (E51) to my E71, but it wont allow
to back up, why? I also tried vice versa, also cannot, dam cialat now, any help
is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
