QUOTE(matyrze @ Mar 18 2010, 11:23 AM) It is rare to see a cule back RM up About Higuain's case, well, I was amused by Marca's rants towards him last week. They are really crazy. LOLz QUOTE Do they ever wonder what kind of money is required to price Ramos away from RM? tell me how much is ramos worth?? i don't really have any idea...80m? 100m? who give the value ? RM ?? as expensive as ramos is, i still think that he won't be as much as ronaldo, 80m... u can put any value on ramos, but the point is, whould any1 be stupid enough to willingly pay such an exorbitant fees to justify that said value...?? QUOTE I fail to see what is so 'grande' about Man Utd success in nurturing CR and Rooney, compared to what RM do with Higuain/Ramos. the difference is 1 won the Ballon d'Or while playing for MU, and another will soon to be a winner too higuain/ramos? candidate also no chance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballon_d%27Or_2009 saw ramos or higuan name there? see the picture? QUOTE(w3er @ Mar 20 2010, 02:28 AM) tell me how much is ramos worth?? i don't really have any idea... And since when are defenders worth more than attackers ever? 80m? 100m? who give the value ? RM ?? as expensive as ramos is, i still think that he won't be as much as ronaldo, 80m... u can put any value on ramos, but the point is, whould any1 be stupid enough to willingly pay such an exorbitant fees to justify that said value...?? And how do you justify any transfer really. Is Berbatov's fee justified for instance? I mean who would be stupid enough to buy a striker for 30M pounds who can't even score 20 goals in a season rite? Fees are just figures. They mean nothing except what the buyer is willing to pay for the player at that time. If we think Ronaldo is worth 80M then that's our problem cause we can afford it. And tbh he'll more than make double that amount back for us. Unlike some clubs we know how to manage our debts. QUOTE the difference is 1 won the Ballon d'Or while playing for MU, and another will soon to be a winner too Right. And before CR who was MU's previous Ballon D'Or winner? Erm...George Best I think? Great list of winners there..wow MU are so amazing developing Ballon D'or winners left and right. higuain/ramos? candidate also no chance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballon_d%27Or_2009 saw ramos or higuan name there? see the picture? |

How about they got no money they nurture..for some that have money...they will buy...nothing wrong from my point of view...they paid to play...but both have the same aim to improve the team..and both also want a talented player..one nurture the talented players...some buy the talented players

Added on March 21, 2010, 4:52 amFT: 3 - 1 Van der Vaart, Xabi and Higuain scored Sporting are a plucky side and they made it difficult for us. The introduction of Guti at the interval turned the tie for us. I have to say though the midfield of Guti, Gago and Xabi played some really good football. Maybe Gago should be given the chance to start and allow Xabi to go forward more. This post has been edited by verx: Mar 21 2010, 04:52 AM |

Haha, on some part I can clearly see Gago hesitated in most of his moves and passes. Pity him, was a nice player and I thought Madrid should loan him to Man City but hey, that ship has sailed right (at least we didn't loose depth in our squad)
Ronaldo was really a hardworking lad and at some point he made me think that every other player were lazy except Marcelo and Van Der Vaart. Towards the end of the game, Higuain shined but couldn't pull off anything other than his goal and a silly yellow card. Oh ya speaking of silly, credit to Ramos for not doing any needless harsh tackles. If I'm not mistaken, Garay, Alonso and Ramos are just one yellow card away from suspension and judging from our previous encounter against Getafe, I predict Alonso and Ramos will most likely miss the derby game, although I hope they won't. Like you said the introduction of Guti really did change the game. He filled the gap in the middle left by Lass and Granero. Killer passes in the last few minutes are so exciting and efficient. Anyway, really hope to see Benzema make a comeback for the next match against Getafe. This post has been edited by gto87: Mar 21 2010, 06:50 AM |

i have no idea how such a limited player like lass can start every match for real.
pellegrini likes granero. ok. he's a home grown player and creative. lass is combative, but he offers nothing positively. he's real's Lucas. imagine a hard working, tackling, combative midfielder alongside xabi (right side of diamond). Imagine Essien or Mascherano there. Or even Gattuso. |

I think it's harsh to say Lass offers nothing positive. He's not a player who will slice defenses with pin point passes. He works harder than anyone in the squad and he does alot of work that goes underappreciated.
Guti may have gave us something extra yesterday but that was because Sporting were mainly focused on defending. But I remember one instance when Ronaldo misplaced a pass which led to a counterattack and Guti was just strolling around the centre circle instead of sprinting back to help the defence. Against different opposition we need different options. I'd rather have Lass in the squad than not. |

Based on what I saw in both legs, it is obvious to me that RM defence is not their problem. It is their midfield that let the team down. A midfield consists of Alonso, Kaka, and of course, the one that your club raised, C. Ronaldo You might as well never heard what Guti said after the match at Bernabeu. Anybody who heard that may think he was being critical of his forwards, not the defenders. Oh and about Gourcuff, sure he is good. I know him since his Milan days. I think it is fair if he get a mention in this year list, but not for last season. They were several other players who can easily kick him off the list. Among them are D. Alves and Ramos. QUOTE WATCH MORE FOOTBALL DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You, and the others who think that Raul still command first team place in RM squad, need to watch more football. |

If there's one thing the game proved is that Xabi is probably our most important player. Ronaldo actually isn't playing in midfield. Pellegrini plays him as a forward with Higuain. And don't bother talking sense to these trolls. They don't have the brain capacity to process such information. That dimsumguy already got his account suspended; karma's a b**** |

Wow, we're losing so many quality players at midfield for this thursday night match. Damn!!
Guti, M.Diarra and kaka are still doubtful while Lass confirmed to have stomach flu, don't know whether he'll still able to play or not. Marcelo is back to his hometown for personal reason But Kaka and Benzema most probably will be rested since we have Derby match this weekend. Hoping to see Gago and Marcos Alonso get themselves a few minutes for both matches. |

No there won't be any live That's 2 games in a row they've not shown live games Our midfield options is definitely a worry. Gago might just get the start anchoring the midfield with Xabi allowed to push further forward. Granero to complete the 3-man midfield and VDV just behind the strikers. But our attacking options off the bench will look very thin if Guti and Kaka are deemed not fit enough. |
