Great goals from Pipita. Best striker in Europe on current form methinks.

the whole pre match talks were surrounding Benzema vs Villa. But Pipita silently overshadowed them with yet another great performance. Benz wasn't bad either. Was lively in working through the channels (left especially)..

Garay and Xabi were superb as well..

Metzelder is still there..

I like Garay (from what i've seen). This is a great chance for him cement his place in the real xi.

Fuh.. first win in 19 years at super depor stadium.

felt very happy for Benz. He has been owned by Higuain so far and i'm glad he has taken his chance with Pipita and Ronaldo out with injury/suspension.

VDV for Kaka for next game i say.. Kaka has been so average.

Guti was HOLY SHyT!!!! he was undoubtfully the best last nite. he had a good chance to score, but he shock the whole world with that back heel
= =" i was stunned 10secs flat...

Raul was very very unlucky not getting 2 on the score sheet. i was wondering is he cursed or the depor keeper hates him or wat. haha.... 2 clear cut chances. but both saved. unlucky?

benz showed a lot of anticipation n work rate. he deserve to be on the score sheet though.

man of the match - errmmm guti smile.gif i was wondering why RM wanna sell him. zzzzz
*
MOTM - Guti.. no doubt. thought Xabi and Granero had good games as well.

Guti, for all of his talents has notorious tendency for being a pain in de arse for managers. Pellegrini came with a good pedigree, so clash of egos was a sure thing to happen. Guti is also very careless in tackles (imagine a Spanish Scholes), so he isn't well liked by Spanish media (from what i've heard).

Benz is in good form. Higuain will be back next week and Ronaldo will be back a week after that. I want to see Higuain-Benz partnership.

Higuain's goal was superb.

Polished performance by real. Granero, Arbeloa, Kaka all were good.

Benzema out for a week now.

Higuain is back, Ronaldo will be back. so no problem for Real.

Still feel a bit bad for Benz. He came with a huge reputation and started well. Then the engineer (Pellegrini) gave few mins to Pipita.. and whoops a daisy.. Look at him now. Even more goals than Ronaldo (ya he missed 2 months, but Higuain still has better goal per mins ratio).

i'd love to see all 4 (Kaka, Ronaldo, Benz, Higuain) in the same line-up, though.

Higuain 16 goals now. 1 behind villa. But all of pipita's goals were from open play.

What a striker he is.

Great game.

Real have been playing some terrific football in recent weeks.

Pellegrini deserves huge amount of credit for turning on the style. He also made crucial subs at the right moment.

I mean which guy will take off Kaka when they are chasing the match?

i believe they sacked a few of them because real didn't play with style.

under pellegrini, real have played some sensational football and gave us good entertainment. sure they've been eliminated from two major tournaments. but they're still alive in the league.

he should stay.

Xabi and Higuain were awesome. Two of the best players for Real this season.

Let us wait for Marca's verdict on Higuain's hattrick.

i have no idea how such a limited player like lass can start every match for real.

pellegrini likes granero. ok. he's a home grown player and creative. lass is combative, but he offers nothing positively. he's real's Lucas.

imagine a hard working, tackling, combative midfielder alongside xabi (right side of diamond). Imagine Essien or Mascherano there. Or even Gattuso.

i don't know but i liked Ronaldo up front with Higuain. they were awesome as a strike force under the engineer.

mourinho's style..

win no matter what... no matter the player's rating and no matter how they play and win the match..

i'm not sure if Jorge "sh*t on stick" Valdano would be content with Mourinho's style.

i loved watching real last season. this season don't knowla. workmen like performances. grind out results.
