Because the defence is not only about 1 player? They only had 4 shots on target. How many teams can you name me that have limited Barca to that amount of shots?

good stat ... then barcelona really better then real madrid ... when real visit barcelona last november, barcelona only limit real madrid to 2 shots on target only ...

anyway.. the problem is shots is not important.. as only goals count.. no matter how many shot we get, but in the end, result is more important.. just like lyon match.. we have about 30+ shots if im not mistaken.. but.. we drew.. so, to me.. we can ague about the stats, but result is the most important..

And this is the hardest part..at Real Madrid, good result alone is not important as beautifully football must come together

by the way.. list of our future coach.. (again... doh.gif )

1. Jose Mourinho (Inter) nod.gif
2. Fabio Capello (England national team) 50-50
3. Carlo Ancelotti (Chelsea), doh.gif
4. Luis Felipe Scolari (Bundyodkor) doh.gif
5. Rafa Benítez (Liverpool) doh.gif

IF, then want to axe mr pelligrini.. IMO, morinnho is the best candidate, IF he can replicate his chelsky performance to us.. if the winning is the most important thing than beautifully football, then.. whistling.gif he will be just like capello... doh.gif

Barcelona didn't have many shots in that game either rolleyes.gif
Curiously enough that was a game we played better than them actually.

Marca came up with that list. yawn.gif
They really have it against us this season haven't they.

But I agree if Pellegrini is to be axed then Mourinho is the one I want. But I would still prefer for Pellegrini to be give one more season

Download and watch the match.. to me.. we played better than we played at our own ground.. some clear cut chances that saved by valdes and intercept by puyol.. and Mif im not mistaken, the MOTM was puyol.. defender and not attacker who scored the goal.. so u can judge by urself.. rolleyes.gif

Don't bother about the troll.

And it should be not renewing Del Bosque's contract; we didn't sack him technically.
But yeah I miss when he was sitting on the bench with his poker face on; never really knew what was going on in his mind laugh.gif

Its funny to see RM always expect instant success with their new players and new coaches. Dont sack Pellegrini yet, give him another season...

it's going to be rafa for you guys.

bad for alonso and arbeloa, but not necessarily bad for Real cause despite his 'kiase' methods at Liverpool, wasn't his Valencia a finely tuned attacking unit?

at any rate Liverpool probably won't mind too much if you 'poached' him.

Instant success is almost impossible with so many new players. But I think that coaching stability is overrated. There is a curious statistic: over the last 11 years we've changed as many coaches in as many years but we've won just as many league titles as Sir Alex Ferguson.
And if Barca for instance kept with Rijkaard we wouldn't be talking about one of the best Barcelona sides ever.
That said, Pellegrini does deserve another season.

Rafa will never be coach of RM. Not with Perez or Valdano there.
His Valencia was a finely tuned defensive unit. Specialist in 1-0's
You guys probably didn't research much about him when you hired him laugh.gif
