Problem Encountered : Can only receive SMS after making a call. Unable to recieve SMS sent by others immediately until the next call is made.
Steps Taken So Far : Remove Sim card and tried again.. Not working

after you have created a shorten version of the song (ringtone), just rename the file format to .m4r. as simple as that.

Hello all,
I just updated and JB my 3G to 3.0.
Im a Celcom user. But after updating, I always suffered from sudden drop call after recipient pick up the call.
I already tried out numerous method such as disable/enable EDGE and 3G, installing/uninstalling profiles, installing .ipcc file, restore (2 times already),
but the problem still persist. Is anyone else having the same problem as mine?
Care to share?

i am having a really bad day right now... earlier to day someone bmped into me while i was handling my iphone then the phone droped, and now my iphone screen is cracked... but the gud thing is it still working... can i replace the glass screen @ machines? kindly advice. many thanks.

Hi guys, sorry if this has been asked before...

My wife's iPhone is 3G, UK software unlocked. Been trying to download winterboard thru cydia, but it somehow always returns an error POSIX socket isn't connected.

Any ideas why this is so? Thanks!

re-jailbreak again without installing Icy. that should solve the problem.

for the bolded statement, ultrasn0w is the one used to unlock the phone. jailbreaking requires either Pwnagetool or redsn0w or purplera1n (for iPhone 3GS). and in case you got everything messed up, unlock =/= jailbreak.

yeah. that's the correct guide. just make sure you check 'Install Cydia' only.

Looks like i'm also a victim of the "dependent on cycle" error. Downloading redsn0w now. hopefully can finish JB during lunchtime.

Finished Jailbreaking. Now to commence unlocking...

I'm having slight issue with my 3G, my gf actually brought her iphone 3g to melb. *bad bad day* she was stopped by the kustom and check with her iphone
the ang moh Australian complain that she is using the crack version*jailbreak* force to do reset the phone on the spot..
no choice, she have to reset it..so my question goes, although after resetting the phone will it still b the same jailbreak version
or it'll go back to factory default OS?! On top of that she said her phone is not able to start up?!?! any comment to the sifuss?!
