I'm wondering, can the screen be damaged if I press or tap it hard on the surface?

I am seriously wondering what answers are you expecting? This question is like will your crappy phone's buttons come off if you press too hard? No offense but seriously if whoever from here can explain in terms of material engineering (sheer stress, tension stress, etc), That would be a wow...

Well Mike3300, if you use it gently, it should not get damaged. Also, i know a few of my friends who play games like Tap Tap on their iPod Touches really hard, so i don't think tapping would lead to any screen malfunctions, unless, you hit it extremely hard for no real reason lol

Also, the screen is super responsive, so there's no need for hard tapping and so on

Just my two cents mate.

Some people told me iPhones are not that durable. Anybody here drop their phone? I was so into Sim3 fishing that I accidently thrown my iPhone when I yank for a fish and glad to report here that my iPhone still working

I got a silly question and yet to understand from the internet....What is tethering? I google it and try to understand it but still dun know what is significant about this feature.

Ohh now i know.....maybe its just me...its really no big deal..

Means use ur iphone as modem to connect to the internet from another device.
