Yeah, i'm willing to give up kinetic for the price....all the features i want at unbeatable price. But kinetic scrolling will be very useful for web browsing. Otherwise, it's just a fancy 'nice to have'.

n97 so-so but for me the mini version looks more upmarket. base on the preview n reviewer initial impression, at least better build quality and finish than n97

agreed with u... there no use for just kinetic on the home+contact list but not on other menu like mucic lib, messages, menu + others...

Nokia releasing V31 for teh lulz?? Even minimal upgrade from v21 to v30?? But so far i'm very satisfied with V30 although still got a few bugs but learned to live with it. RM1.2k phone doesnt get much better than this.

For me I've always liked Sony Ericsson better than Nokia. In fact I wanted to buy the Idou back then before I got my tube the problem is, the release date keep pushing back so I bought this first. After all, when its a smartphone, they are all Symbian so it makes no difference Nokia or otherwise.

I am not really looking forward to kinetic scrolling to be honest. I mean, how much time do I spend scrolling through my phone book anyways But I am just not happy with what Nokia did by releasing a substandard OS for the 5800. But anyways I'm still waiting for October for firmware 2.0 so I'll just wait for that.

at least better ram management. more free ram.
maybe in next FW, they will provide kinetic scrolling n better home screen. maybe after n97 2.0 FW, so that new FW for 5800 will not overshadowed its flagship device
