not sure. but js now i tested few times. n before this every morning i woke up, the time is same with my setting. anyway, if like u said, i diff 4-5 minutes, is not a big deal for me biggrin.gif

i guess most of it is compatible with 5800. some reso n touchscreen features a bit cacated

Heh. I'm still using V21 sweat.gif

Since my tube is so noob. I checked the firmware version for my UK tube. Still V21.
Nevermind. Don't plan to debrand too.

despointed wit v31... new changes are..

1. Ovi Maps instead of Nokia Maps
2. Supposly better gps lock on time. I havent test on mine....
3. More ram etc etc.. no diff to me.. mayb need hard reset

is it necessary to do soft / hard reset ??
very funny lah ... until today i'm still confused by this reset terms

hard reset is the 7370 or the press green+red+camera shutter to reset ?

coz the 7370 also erases the phone memory .... not sure wat the green+red+camera does ...

Just updated my phone to latest v31 firmware. Don't see any difference. I actually failed the updating process several times...sweat.gif...luckily, it hasn't start updating the firmware yet. Dunno what happened...but after restart PC ok i guess.

but V21 and V30 i also notice got different.

V30 take like forever to get a lock. V21 take long but quite fast

without a-gps

Locking depends on your location and satelite signal. I don't think any firmware updates going to speed up ur hardware GPS locking.

the FW does play a little role in the locking time.
u can see some difference in locking time btwn v21 and v30.
if u're using a standalone GPS unit, u can see a major difference. so location and satelite signal are not only the factors
