at least we didnt get FC Rubin Kazan or Unirea for the 4th seed...
if thats happen, i think we got the easiest group ever in our history....

Besikitas - turkey is always a tough place to go, chelsea lost in fernerbache 2 yrs ago and english club always have a trouble rolling over the turks.
Cska moscow - plastic pitch, an away trip to moscow in the winter could be brutal.
Wolfsburg - best team in bundesliga last season.

eventually we did managed to beat them in both games (home & away) by a last gasp goals by bergy & pires...

Actually.. we always tot we got easy group evry year until the match start...

It was actually a last minute goal by the Iceman that won us the game. Pires scored early in the 2nd half and most of thought that the flood gates would open by then. How wrong were we

That's okay. if United don't win the UCL, i'd prefer Arsenal to win than any other teams.

I agree, better not risk Fab if he not really fit for the MU match. I rather have him rested in the MU match than loosing him for few month

straight group for us and man utd.unlucky to liverpool and chelsea.i think they got tough group unless porto today is not the same porto last season and lyon is no longer big guys of europe.

that champions league final year was a blur to me... maybe because i was busy preparing for an important exam? i cant remember why but i dont even know all the teams we beat to get there! all i remember is henry's blitz from the center of the pitch to score against Real Madrid, and fabregas's long range shot to defeat AC Milan. it's a pity we didnt win the cup that year, that would've been such a legendary campaign. i do remember fades about pak leman saving a penalty by riquelme too... wow what an epic story. is there like any highlights from that whole campaign? lol i'm always asking for highlights >_<

btw on our group, it looks really simple. i dont know much of the other 3, but olympiakos is probably the candidate to give us the most trouble. anyway, i dont think any of the three matches Celtic. tho we did get past celtic with a lot of luck in tact
