but can they? i doubt it. but watever. having cesc out for a few weeks is better than playing him, him getting injured and off for a few months. and on the mu game, have some faith. i know its not easy to beat them at OT, but i dont think we will give up so easily. at least a draw  biggrin.gif

we don't have adebayor this time. tongue.gif

Ah how can you not know Coquelin haha or you forgot ?  hmm.gif One of our highest rated youngsters apart from Wilshere, Vela and Ramsey. Plays primarily as a DM. Could e a very very good backup to Song in that DM role in 1 or 2 years time.

Picture doesn't ring a bell still ?

a picture will never ring a bell if he didn't play for arsenal first team yet.lol. tongue.gif or did he?huhu

He made an appearance in that 6-0 thrashing of Sheffield United last season when Vela scored the hattrick. That is the only first team appearance he has made for us but if you have been following and watching our pre-season games both last season and this season then you couldn't have missed him IMO.
*
ahakx.no wonder.i didn't watch that 6-0 game and also both last season and this season presason matches.

btw,i know them since i'm FM manager.huhu.

Cesc's hammie scan results are out and thank god there is no signs of strain. Will miss Celtic for sure but could be fit for Man Utd.

QUOTE(he-sham @ Aug 28 2009, 01:08 AM)
remember a few seasons ago we struggled to beat fc thun of swiss...

eventually we did managed to beat them in both games (home & away) by a last gasp goals by bergy & pires...
*
QUOTE(Nostalgia @ Aug 28 2009, 01:11 AM)
It was actually a last minute goal by the Iceman that won us the game. Pires scored early in the 2nd half and most of thought that the flood gates would open by then. How wrong were we  tongue.gif

And that was also the year we reached the final  smile.gif
*
who can forget that year..road to paris where we conceded only 3 including the finals.

straight group for us and man utd.unlucky to liverpool and chelsea.i think they got tough group unless porto today is not the same porto last season and lyon is no longer big guys of europe.

Rooney never made ANY attempt because there was contact.

i don't mind we lost the game actually.we were the away team anyway but the quality of the referee last nite was questionable.i hope FA will do something this time.

if UEFA can do retrospective judgement,i hope FA can too.too many decisions by the referee were doubtful.

QUOTE(sakaito @ Aug 31 2009, 12:11 AM)
heck really... for me, i'm expecting us to lose against MU at OT. If we get a win, 1-0 will be the scoreline. I'll bet most of us think that 1-1 was a more justifiable score but we had diaby to thanks for losing the point. ehehe..

oh well... nevermind. Now that the weight of expectation has been lifted, i expect the team to perform even better now. Take this lost as a lesson that eventhough we are the better team, didn't mean we will win.
*
agreed.less pressure now that we had lost a game.but i hope we won't lose another like this..

QUOTE(skod @ Aug 31 2009, 12:13 AM)
falling BEFORE contact is a definite dive. plain easy to swallow

never mind though because there WILL BE contact if he DIDNT dive at first (which of course he did), so the goal was inevitable

back to arsenal topic. is it true that rosicky will be available for match against citeh?

Added on August 31, 2009, 12:14 am

i do agree. this is not about losing, this is about the nature of losing..i pray to god so that someday we will lost to manu (in epl) fair and square..
*
judging from the last match, they can't beat us fair and square.sorry to man utd's fans.man utd played well but they don't have the finishing other than rooney's touch.just pray that owen can be back on his track and berba found his shooting boot back.

QUOTE(skod @ Aug 31 2009, 12:17 AM)
poor croatian, i bet someday they will send their army troops to invade birmingham tongue.gif
so FA, still wanna backup your ENGLISH players?
*
i hope they don't do a revenge on walcott.next international match is england vs croatia rite?

I cannot understand how come you guys glorify that moment. I really hate what they did to Wenger. Soccernet even calls it a moment of comedy.... haihzz
*
dude.nobody does that at old trafford.not even SAF i guess..it was EPIC!

QUOTE(maxizanc @ Aug 31 2009, 12:38 AM)
Wenger was funny with his reaction but i agree with his action to irritate the referee.
*
at first i thought the referee was just asking him to go back to his seat.didn't know that he was sent off but what the heck.sent off just because he kicked the bottle. shakehead.gif

Do what exactly? He was banished to the stands with no place to sit and had to stand there while the MU fans tormenting him. That was a sad moment dude.
*
lol.your view is different than mine.
mine:he was brave enough to stand in front of the devil's fans and refuse to move away from the dugout when he was sent off. rclxms.gif notworthy.gif

When a manager is sent off, he has to sit in the stands as opposed to players where they have to go to the dressing room.
*
erk.i thought managers are supposed to go to the dressing room as well and that's why there's a man utd's official came up to him and show him where to go..

move on guys
dun argue for something which never know you're die hard defend them.

the fact is 3 points grabbed, dont think FA will look into this matter (penalty incident) and revert the result
