Arsenal have curse where their former player scored against us in the 1st game.
Btw, Almunia is terribly positioning and Gallas & Vermae need to cope with the absence of quality DM thus concede 4 goals. Furthermore Arsenal play too many short pass & cross in the box. Why not just f***** shoot! |

diaby looked better before his own goal in manu game. i guess that OG knocked the spirits off him. i still wonder why wenger doesnt start dudu vp bend, oh well the game is over. and i genuinely thought shav's boots were gonna be filled by ross.

from the replays it looks very much intentional as he stuck his foot towards the direction of RVP's face. im not buying the idea that he was balancing himself during the landing and getting his foot mixed up in RVP's face.

Don't think Ross is capable of playing long games though, he looks tired even though he played partially in the second half.Hopefully he'll back to full fitness soon. |

QUOTE(zenox0123 @ Sep 13 2009, 01:18 AM) Kimhoong, somehow I wasnt quite agree with the fact that Almunia is fine. He could have done a lot better with the 1st goal and Adebayor goal. Both goals, he looked completely rooted. I admit that GK has to execute his job with zero mistake And yeah, Diaby was disgraceful. Seriously. The first goal was totally an accident - although there are arguments if Almunia would had reacted earlier to position himself better - as the header wasn't fast. Adebayor's goals was defensive error - we were outnumbered - and I saw someone didn't track back |

It was a shocking result with bad defending for sure. I'm looking forward to Wenger's comments regarding the game.

well...we lose....lets look at the weak link & take positive sides of the game...
their 3rd & 4th goals were due to our eagery to get forward and loss focus on defending plus counter attack from city were awesome.... for me the weak link in tonite games were bendtner, clichy, song & almunia.... bendnter = no contribution at all clichy = commited on 50-50 challenge and losing the all occasionally... song = didnt provide the quality of defensive midfielder in top level... almunia = didnt rise to the occasion when the team really need him to perform.... positive sides, rosicky made a return with a goal & RVP opened his account this season with his right foot... as for adebayor, u're now no 1 traitor of arsenal....u take over no 1 traitor from cashley cole...u'll never be remembered as arsenal hero...u won nothing yet....u'll get hostile treatment if u ever step into emirates ground again... & finally u'll be watching us playing in champions league this season & frustratedly asking why i'm not playing champions league football.. becoz city is not a top 4 club & will never be the top 4 clubs.... chill guys... ^ lol even if you leave the player unnamed, "not tracking back" is sort of synonymous to one player in the team
the change that is most needed probably is GK. i still think we can do better than almunia. |

Ade intentionally stamped on Robin face. that was a disgrace, and if FA did not have anything to say about the incident i'll be very surprise. but then again, this is incident against Arsenal we are talking about, maybe i should prepare myself for the fact that nothing will be done about it
Average Al is just average. the thing when you being a goalkeeper for a top team like us, concentration must be 1 of your strong point because you will only be tested during the short period of the match overall. more so when you have a perfect central defender partnership in front of you. unfortunately for us, concentration is not 1 of Average Al strong point. the 1st Man City goal tonight and the Rooney penalty incident last 2 weeks were perfect example where his concentration let him down, big time. |

QUOTE(Gr3yL3gion @ Sep 13 2009, 01:24 AM) We can play 4-3-3 with bendtner in center. RVP can play in center only, if only there are midfielders that are capable to benefit or score from it. Sorry, maybe Im bit bias or what, somehow I don't see vs MC as Big matches. The only reason why people classified it as big matches cause we wanted to see how AdeBongok(nice one from one of the fans here) lose and eat back his words and MC spends lots! bt too bad, AdeBongok become AdeBodohI don't see anybody from midfield is capable to score today before rosicky came in. And with Diaby on for the whole 90 minutes is an insult to injury since he slows down our attack and doesn't track back to defend that often. AW should stick his players back to their conventional roles and stop experimenting in BIG MATCHES! Perhaps can make the case like Dudu case? Banned Ade for 2 matches? He could easily broke V.Persie skull with that challenge |

for those who mad at Abou for jogging back during their 2nd goal, the real culprit was our captain
Cesc misplaced his pass to Gael, and then casually jogged back along with Abou towards the penalty area and leaving Alex Song alone to face the attack |
