It's really not easy to track back the thread.

I really admit this loss to ManCity. They deserve the 3 points

Very surprising to me, that we lost in pace doh.gif

Our fullbacks were outskinned - especially Clichy! Although Sagna faced the similar fate but 2 important goals conceded were from Clichy - and there was a reliable backup for Sagna which was Eboue.

All goals scored except Man City's first were great goals.

A very entertaining match indeed. But too bad we were the losing side sad.gif

i was wondering whether manc's 4-3-3 formation undid us. employing robinho and SWP at the flanks will force bend and whoever was playing at the left to track back. again i didnt see the game so i cant comment much

This is my verdict. Summary of the game.

- Almunia's own goal cannot be blamed all on him. He tried to reach but lady luck was at City's side.

- Diaby had an decent game. He's not as poor as he used to be.

- Rosicky should be played more often because he gives another dimension of attack.

- Clichy should be more composed and not falling all over like a piece of tofu.

- Bendtner was the worst player on the pitch tonight. Absolutely no f***ing contribution.

i agree with you,
i think arsenal need to change their goalkeeper(not fabianski for sure),almunia hurmm, doesn;t looks good as last season,
if im not mistaken, arsenal hve no clean sheet this season for epl

diaby,argh..change him with wilshere(not much experience but,i don't wnt him to move to other clubs, like david bentley..he is good but spurs makes him bad),or use ramsey

u are true bout rosicky,he is one of the player who played really well for arsenal today, impressive, should hve strt
clichy also has problem this season
i remember the match againts man u, he takes time to clear a ball in the penalty box,and his cleareance was poor,

bendter - i agree 100%.why did arsene wneger did not change him,not helping at all, should use eduardo - he is one of the greatest player on arsenal, and now he is not injured,he should not be on the bench

Anyone else saw the challenge by de jong that earned him a yellow card on rosicky? I saw the replay and he had two of his legs clipping rosicky's glassleg while standing, for a moment there i feared for rosicky sad.gif

IMO,
I believe once Song was subs out, our defense was like completely gone!
Yeah, Clichy made most of the mistakes but let not forget that Almunia could have save the 1st goal as well as the Adebayor goal.
He simply rooted!
And yup, Bendtner wasted quite alots of chances. and I hardly see Diaby doing any running during 2nd half and he keeps on losing the ball unnecessary. But have to admit, MC did beats us.
And to mention a few positive points I see from the match

1. Rosicky is back and although he looks bit slow but the his touch really amazing.
2. Our no5 really good. At one point I really thought he score the rocket.

But whether Adebayor purposely stamp on V.Persie, no ones know. From reply I felt that he purposely do it.

AW got his tactics and subs wrong today, and we paid the price.

AND

screw Adebayor, you're officially no.1 public enemy in Emirates.

i think man city played a good game. adebayor was GOOD no doubt besides the way he f***ing whined and talked shit the moment he got sold to man city.

i was just about to PRAISE HIS skills today...

until he f***ing ran all the way to the arsenal fans and did that celebration.

he can now go burn in a f***ing fire and rot in hell for all i care

Adebayor was very unprofessional with his celebration. He try to emulate what gary neville do to liverpool but neville did not play for us, so that is consider a rivalry thing. but adebayor did played a major role for Arsenal, Wenger brought him up to be what he is today. Imagine biting the hand that feeds you.
