I think many dissatisfied customers are more likely to voice out their displeasure as compared to happy and contented customers to voice happiness, as that could be construed as gloating and boasting fanboy.

I have been using my Phat PS3 since SG launched it way back then (i paid a damn premium for it, can almost buy 2 slim PS3 now) and mostly been using it for games.

Slowly have been racun-ed to play BD, but i am happy with the LPCM output as you can hear the diff as compared to regular DD or DTS.

I wonder why Sony change the logo from the "Playstation 3" to PS3. It looks fugly a bit.

maxizanc bro, I can see that you already change your target from PS3 fat to PS3 slim "PS" already become a trademark to Sony, whenever people mention about PS, we all know what it is, maybe that's why Sony change the logo to PS3

Not only the logo, but the font is different as well. No more that Spide-Man font. And the new firmware uses the new logo and font at the introduction. It celebrates the arrival of this new Slim PS3, so our old fat PS3 will just have to follow.

Sorry, one stupid question without checking on the previous post... Can PS3 read external HDD? be it slim or big model? If can read external HDD, can it play the m2ts file in the HDD?

You can use media server, or copy directly to the PS3's harddisk via network. I've copied a few 8GB files via network.

The only reason you can't have have files bigger than 4GB is the USB external drive format. PS3 can only read USB external drive that is formatted with FAT32, which limits file size to 4GB maximum.

Or can try EXT3 linux partition. Does this work?
