how long will it takes to terminate the acc??

my bf went to terminate last few days, but i check the ocs, the status still stated ACTIVE...

it should be within 24 hours only.
i terminated mine celcom bb at celcom centre PJ and the officer ask when you want the line to be terminated. i asked for immediate termination and after back home from office the celcom bb already terminated.

they will charge you on pro-rate basis for that month.

u don't have to go anywhere to terminate just dial 1111 and talk to their customer service..later on they will pass you to the technical person...
they will terminate almost immediately.

this is applicable if you add on the broadband service to your existing mobile no.

so far mine is working pretty good...
consistently the download speed is at least 1mbps and the upload speed is at least 300kbps.

this is my current speed...

i'm gonna terminate Celcom BB D98 and switch to TMnut soon...

at least not as nut as what i'm going through with celcom currently. Moved in to a new place and now the signal is poor, always disconnect no matter what I try!!

enough, time for something solid and stable. Byebye wireless world.

yup. terminated already. biggrin.gif it is better for you to go to celcom center to terminate your bb since there will be a proper documentation to shut down the service. and i would like to advice that please keep the copy of the 'service termination' form with you because i already get the promised 'prorated charge' but they bill me on full month charge. mad.gif so far i keep on hold this bill for payment first because i need to go back to their celcom center to get back my 'prorate bill' as promised. therefore, it is important for us to keep the copy of the 'service termination' form as supporting document.

I'm using D68, and lately the service getting suckier by day. Last week I was able to surf the net and starting this week it's like ...totally can't even surf the web, if can surf...only lasts for 10 minutes before the mass disconnection and reconnection begins.

at first I thought it was my phone faulty, as Im using phone to surf the net, but even my other friends that uses celcom D68 getting the same problem, as some using vodafone, at&t and also huawei modem to connect...all having the same problem starting this week...

The problem is like...where the connection states as HSDPA with 4 signal bar [from the mobile connect status]...then suddenly switches to GPRS, then HSDPA again for like 10seconds...then repeats to GPRS...repeating for like every 10-30 seconds...and renders us can't even surf the net properly as it always switches around HSDPA and GPRS for every 10-30seconds.

It's totally frustrating where it's always disconnecting. Anyone from Kuching area does experiences the same situation? vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

Have you tried to set your phone to received 3g/hsdpa only?

For me, when the connection keep changing, I set my modem to connect to 3G only in the setting option, and it resolve the problem...

i dont believe on what the cs said.last time i've called cs to troubleshoot the error code "619" on my vodafone mobile connect where i cant connect. It took me 10 minutes just to follow their guide to resolve it.testing here and there, install and uninstall vmc and yet the problem was not fixed. After being frustated. i googled for a solution and done.

this is what i said, "no connection stability"..u have the HSDPA speed, but it wont last longer.."U" signal means, "disconnected"..

different area has different signal strength..pls do some testing first..in my case, i can get stronger signal in my dining area (1st floor, right in the middle) than upper floor next to the windows..

Added on October 20, 2009, 11:36 amthe broadband salesmen, the authorised agent keep promoting Celcom Broadband, do aggresive approach to get people to subscribe celcom bb..u will listen to all kind of good things about celcom broadband compared to others..the bad thing about other BB u can hear also..i'm not blaming the users if they make wrong decision at that point in time..

I'm not blaming the salesmen either (except those who telling liar or hiding factual info), as they have been authorised to sell, hence, higher sales means, higher commission...

Its celcom provider who never do proper study about congestion..yes they did once, ie.. asking us to accept the quota limit..but their strategy to get as much people to subscribe celcom is the main aim..

It is the service centre peoples who receive the pain...have to answer and solve the complaints, critics, have to learn on how to be patient when facing nasty words they receive almost everyday..in fact, they may now be authorised to promote other BB package alternatively, simply becoz they do not and will not have any solution for you..pity them..

In order to choose any BB package, first things, u should hv try it yourself, especially in your area..dont listen 100% the comments by others..simply becos, their places are different from yours..they mights experiencing bad BB connection at their place, but not necessarily be the same as you..

i've heard about wider coverage about Celcom BB than other BB..i subsribe myself, 3 places i went to try the connectivity, the result is worst..in contrary, maxis gaves me a good connectivity at these places..in other cases, my frens experiencing a good connectivity with celcom, as compared to maxis..

well...i m on d98, but only getting speeds of 600k MAX for the past couple of months....used to be able to get 1.2M to 1.4M before. Same set-up, same computer, same place.

called PSC last month or so...was told that they will look into it, reset my connection, blah blah blah... and told to monitor the situation.

today, i called them again, told them speed is still crap as ever, they say will check ...again with the 3-7 working days standard answer!

anyway, i gave up and signed up for digi on the spot! let's see if it is better! lol
