I'm using D68, and lately the service getting suckier by day. Last week I was able to surf the net and starting this week it's like ...totally can't even surf the web, if can surf...only lasts for 10 minutes before the mass disconnection and reconnection begins.

at first I thought it was my phone faulty, as Im using phone to surf the net, but even my other friends that uses celcom D68 getting the same problem, as some using vodafone, at&t and also huawei modem to connect...all having the same problem starting this week...

The problem is like...where the connection states as HSDPA with 4 signal bar [from the mobile connect status]...then suddenly switches to GPRS, then HSDPA again for like 10seconds...then repeats to GPRS...repeating for like every 10-30 seconds...and renders us can't even surf the net properly as it always switches around HSDPA and GPRS for every 10-30seconds.

It's totally frustrating where it's always disconnecting. Anyone from Kuching area does experiences the same situation? vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

Never uses celcom 3g to do transaction much, especially during peak hours.

My friends just recently booked some tickets online..and when during payment been processed, her connection just suddenly drops off and her credit card already been charged.

Luckily she got the reference number so she can get her ticket info. sweat.gif

I'd say celcom 3g do have wide coverage, but they do really suck in term of speed, stability and customer service.

Price can remain but they have got to use their resources or at least invest in some upgrades to cater more bandwidth for existing and future subscribers. wink.gif

I pity myself having to pay rm98, the speed is great no doubt about it. But the line is really unstable & its getting shitty this past few days. Cant hardly connect around nite time. When i call customer service they say they're doing some upgrading & told me to be patient shakehead.gif

Is it possible for situation like this?

My sister took my 3G to Labuan last few weeks ago, and since last time when she at Labuan, there's celcom 3G coverage...but apparently when she enrolled in the matriculation there, hardly to get any 3G coverage.

So here's the question, since I might use the celcom3G anyway, is it possible to just go to Celcom Center and ask for new 3G simcard, and terminate the simcard that my sister is holding now?

Thanks ya

The area there has no 3G coverage at all. Only the town has 3G.

And to answer your question, I think you can. Though I wonder why you wanna terminate the one she is holding and does she know about it?  blink.gif

yeah, she thought got coverage there sweat.gif ...and yes, she know, already mentioned to her, and since that 3G simcard she holding is also registered under my name nod.gif

get an authorized letter from the account holder + his/her identification, put down the reason for termination and give contactable phone number (for verification) and mentioning your name & NRIC to act on behalf of the account holder, should be OK then

speed upgrade, but usage decreased... what's the point for giving high speed but totally limited speed =/

even if its "upgraded"...the service will still be total terrible anyway.
