Go to services, there can disable presentationfontcache..

Soluto, just a fancier msconfig, at least you can know which process eats the most time..

Any Inspiron M102z user here? Planning to get this model... would like to have some reviews first, that'd be awesome.

Couldn't find any reviews online.

Not really that old lah. And AMD Zacate is still a very viable processor, fighting at the netbook segment. The reason why I chose this was because it's small and light, while all the new Llano laptops currently in Malaysia are really heavy, big.

Font cache thingy.

Added on August 3, 2011, 1:27 amI have to say, Playing Black Ops on this thing is satisfying.
40+ frames on high settings. No glitch at all. Temperature + fan spin also ain't that bad.

chyan u mean ur N5010? i get around 70-60 fps with medium setting & tweak & off some part! but when "gang bang shooting" occurs, my fps drops 9696 till around 20-30 fps!

disable the font cache stuff & dun click games explorer to prevent the fan spinning during idle mode!

Added on August 10, 2011, 11:54 amfor inspiron users.. follow instruction from http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1982772

hi guys, my brother has a N5110 and he formatted the C: and D: drive without doing any backup, the problem now is the didn't create any recovery disc before this.
I've checked and the recovery partition is still intact, is there anyway that i can recover everything back to factory default?

thanks for the link, however, i'm still facing some prob, i tried to access the advance boot option > repair your computer, but there's no dell factory image recover and datasafe option for me to select. I'm thinking is it possible to install datasafe in windows and run it from there? if yes, where can i download the datasafe?
