"Maximum physical CPUs supported"

What does this mean? The Starter and Premium can support only 1 whereas the Prof and Ult can support 2

it refers to physical CPU, not how many cores inside the CPU.

both are two core, but that's not what the windows is refering. The windows is refering to the motherboard that can be installed two cpu, like can put two piece of c2d e8500.
for that mobo, you need windows pro and ultimate to support it.

Physical means the actual processor, not on die cores. Server boards tend to run multiple CPUs and thus need the Professional or Ultimate/Enterprise versions. Rest assured all consumer grade systems only utilize a single, physical processor.

one thing to ponder: does Windows *really detect* how many physical cpus on the board? smile.gif

or it's just purely licensing restriction on paper .... curious

I would have stack it against HP Pavilion DV2. (12.1"). However, might be disqualified as it weights >1.8kg.

imho 11z is sort of 1 of it's kind... most other 11" in the market uses Atom only, while other CULV are 13" or 14"...

Yah... For the price & specs, looks like 11z is the best bet. However, have to compromise on some of the creature comforts.
