why would people think SU4100 is weak? Its just mind boggling. and those even trying to compare it with Atom and NEO is even beyond understanding. The SU4100 is so much more powerful then my bloody sempron 64 desktop at home which i think it bloody fast still.

For one thing, this pseudo-netbook (note that its not classed as a netbook) can go to 4GB RAM compared to Atom based ones which max@2GB. This increased RAM probably will improve yr performance for apps like photoshop. However, I suspect that fullblown Photoshop CS4 might be sluggish but with this "class" of computer, you should only be running photoshop elements.

Lesson learnt for those intending to purchase :- Please wait for DELL special offers of discounts. I had the miss opportunity of buying it too soon & then they offer the RM100/- discount the next day.  I asked them if I could add the coupon but they said cannot as already ordered.

Also still waiting for it to arrive next week. Will post some review once I get it.

Home Premium is the best for semi-pro home use.

Professional has more of networking stuffs (suitable for corporate use).

Ultimate is overkill (all-in-one OS).

One more thing: pricing!

Home Premium Retail = RM459. OEM = RM369. <-- quite affordable even when u get Retail.

nobody seems to have it. I guess people think its crazy to pay RM2200 for a mere "netbook" with a CULV. People rather buy a full core2duo machine for RM2200.

Its a psychology thing. RM1300, people don't mind and that is why the netbooks at that price are selling well.

It is a matter of time before Dell drops the price substantially.

got a shock of my life when I saw it at PC fair. The battery sticks out so much from the back (botton). It is like 2 inches sticking out.

No way will I ever buy it.

It is no wonder why the Dell concept stores don't put the machines on display. I think they are too scared to show this netbook to anybody.

No one with the right frame of mind will buy this netbook after seeing the battery. It is so misleading to see the Dell website of an image of a person holding the netbook with mere two fingers.

Trust me, it sticks out like 2 inches on the bottom.

Bibby Girl, try to return it or sue Dell Malaysia as the image shown is misleading.

Dell has return policy, can always return if not happy.
