THX is a certification of the audio standard, not an audio format or technology per se. So if you want THX, you need to own all THX-related equipment to fully enjoy it... and that may cost quite a bit unless you're an elite

Anyone bought State of Play? Would be interesting to check the BD coz the filmmaker juggled between two different cameras, ie - anamorphic & digital camera... want to see if there's any real difference especially on hi-def.

Just came back from watching The Final Destination (that's Final Destination 4) at Cineleisure, Mutiara D'sara. Putting the storyline aside, this has got to be the worst PQ of a brand new movie shown at a modern cinema in recent memory!!!??!
I must blame Cineleisure for putting such a hideous presentation... it was out of focus in the first place and the whole reel looks like it came out from Filem Negara!  Prolly, the 3-D shows are better because of its higher ticket price because this 2-D one is really a sad case. Maybe oso, it's my fault too because I've been exploited by hi-definition presentation all this while and I've raised the bar too high for everything I watch from this point on... |

Shipped from Amazon US via Std Shpg: 25 August 2009 DILEPASKAN Kastam: 2 September 2009 Delivered to my house: 4 September 2009  Not particularly new release... but titles from the last B2G1 from Amazon US except LXG; which was bundled-up with Entrapment (hidden underneath) and sold for USD25!
