It's known as DOMS and it's normal. I don't get your title, though.

LOL, not necessary you need to squat heavy. for some ppl requires less muscle fibre activation, they can go light but they hit the target muscle so well in 30min they are out of the gym.. brows.gif

Pain is the feeling of weakness leaving the body.

Inaccurate.
If there's a significant change in your routine, you might get sore the first few times. Then generally there is little or no soreness anymore (unless the changes listed below happens).

The soreness only appears when you introduce new movements/exercises, large increase in weights, or large increase of volume into your routine.

You don't have to. Change the rep/set range of your workout, to a complete opposite.

EG: You usually do bench presses with 3x10x100KG. Try 10x3x140KG

Or if today you're using medium reps, try high reps. Just mix and match the reps and weight and depth and tempo of descend and ascent. Use a different tool, for example change from a dumbbell to a barbell or kettlebell or sandbag and vice versa. You'll stay sore that way if you like it. I prefer to NOT be sore.

So it actually doesn't make a difference whether there's sore or not?

I gained 7 kilos without feeling sore except for the first few workouts.
