Technically not that its "fake" but if you've read the thread, different people get it at different times (kinda odd). I got mine within a day or so. some up to a week.

Maybank updates their online system very slow. You can get the code immediately if you called Customer Service...some CS don't know what is PayPal Code so you'll have to explain to them.

Standard Chartered on the other hand updates their online system instantly so the moment PayPal charge your account, you can login to Stand Chart and get the paypal code immediately.

I've activated MSOS and able to purchase on any site..but I still cant link my debit card to paypal..paypal shows "This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card."
What should i do?

I have one question regarding Billing Address..

For my maybank2u, in my personal details, my address is in penang (my hometown).

I registered paypal with my current address in KL. Would this conflict when trying to add my maybank debit card?

And if not, when I purchase something using paypal, which address would the package be sent to? to penang, or to KL?

finally, my main bank acc is CIMB, so my maybank2u only has RM9 in it. Would it be sufficient to register with paypal?how much would it deduct from my acc?

thank you!

1. It WILL NOT conflict with linking your maybank debit card with Paypal as long as you're using legit Maybank card . (which the expuse code are possible to be sent from Paypal team)

2. The expuse will cost you $1.95 (if I'm not mistaken nod.gif ) . The deducted amount will be added into your Paypal account after you have submit the expuse code for the verification.

Thank you sir for your kind help.

However, I'm still confused with the 2 addresses I have in my paypal. Here's a screen shot of my paypal profile page:

Attached Image

in the first row, that's where I'm currently staying, and stated "HOME" at the status.

Meanwhile, the second row is the address for my maybank debit card (I registered the bank account and debit card in my hometown, so it appeared in my maybank2u personal details).

If i buy something in ebay, where would the item be delivered? To the credit card's address, or to my current address (HOME)

Thank you

AFAIK, if you bought anything via Paypal on ebay/any ecommerce site, your item will be delivered to the registered address on the auctions site itself and not paypal. Unless if you were buying anything from an individuals personally , your item will be pointed with your Paypal registered address. laugh.gif

it has been 32 hours since i registered. I registered paypal yesterday morning, at 8am. I've checked my maybank and the 4 digit is still not there.. I have 3 preauth sales, probably because I edited my address 3 times. LOL..

Attached Image

Should I wait, or should i just remove the dedit card from paypal, and start over? How long should i wait?

Guys, I got a problem here. I've done all the things needed as show in this tutorial, and also got my debit card verified by Paypal but when I try to make the payment, this message popped out 'To complete this payment, add another debit or credit card to your PayPal account or Update your Credit Card or Debit Card'. Been calling Maybank several times and they said nothing is wrong with my debit card but the problem still persists. Anyone knows the solution?

Hi..im not sure where to ask. But I have an urgent question. .how do I remove maybank debit card link to my fathers Google account. .? As you all might have guessed, I don't have access to his phone, hence I cant access his Google account to delete the debit card..he used my card yesterday to buy an app and now my card is still linked to his Google account. . How do I disable it remotely? Thanks

I dont think there's a way you can do that. worse case call maybank to cancel your card and get a new one.
