ok. What I mean by good enough is whether the features match the pricing. Eg whether it can download online content.
Is it good enough if compared to PS3 or should I get Ps3 instead?
Pricing to get a decent player. Not too expensive for an average home. Just player only.
Understand what your primary use for the player and also what u want to use it for.
If you are using a display that is below 50in and only need it for BD, I believe a BD60 or the Philips would be fine.
If you want the BD player to function as a media player, then go for the Dune.
If you want a BD player that will also play decent/good CD, SACD, DVD-A and u have a large collection of DVDs taht you do not want to upgrade to BD and u have a big screen go for the Oppo.
Of course if want something that does this and gaming, get a PS3 slim!
One thing to note, I believe if you want to buy movies/BD from different regions you shd consider getting a player that can be easily modded to be region free (Dune 1.0 only needed a firmware, Oppo is a easy cable upgrade, the BD60 requires soldering and the rest of the players are difficult). As of now the PS3 cannot be modded.
