my display kaput last week. called dell as i still have 10 days warranty.(damn i'm lucky). really respect their warranty service. when they say next day on site they do come the next day, together with the new lcd and flex cable. Damn good. just tell them whats the problem over the phone and the technician come with the exact parts to be replace. i'm soo lucky.

hello guys, i'm studio 1435 user, not studio 15 biggrin.gif I'm just lazy to find the studio 14 thread biggrin.gif

Anyway, there's these vertical lines on my LCD screen. Actually it happened once last June, now it's the second time sad.gif The first time was still under warranty and I just called the Dell technician to come my house and he changed the LCD screen.

And now, this shyt is happening again and I'm now thinking whether should I change the LCD screen again or I just go and buy another new laptop? Cuz it's not 100% won't have vertical lines right after I changed the screen sad.gif And I don't know how much it costs to change another new screen sleep.gif

I mean those monitor for the desktop..
Any brand is fine as long you got the connector correct (vga/hdmi)

Ah. if portability concern, then it will be bad idea..
