my display kaput last week. called dell as i still have 10 days warranty.(damn i'm lucky). really respect their warranty service. when they say next day on site they do come the next day, together with the new lcd and flex cable. Damn good. just tell them whats the problem over the phone and the technician come with the exact parts to be replace. i'm soo lucky.

hi everyone, want to ask, beside from dell or oversea online shop, where can we get dell 1555 parts? i broke my lcd black frame. and also i want to change the top cover. anybody ever done that?

cracked edges, 15 minutes batery life, but still work like charm. hard to replace la this laptop. for those looking for a battery replacement, its around RM160 by one forummer. but now i use my HP dm1 when on the go. so this laptop just sit like desktop.
