QUOTE(andrewckj @ Nov 19 2009, 11:08 PM) erm, yes, spot on! thats the highest sell and buy matches. Then the price keep hovering between 5.40-5.43.. of course, i studied the market. This is my 1st ever shares investment. Hehe and am using this as a tool to learn how the market functions. How good if i was daring enough to play margin, 50k units and could earn a least RM1k buying at RM5.3 and selling at RM5.5 |

QUOTE(Amanda99 @ Nov 19 2009, 11:14 PM) will keep some for long term as well.... Added on November 19, 2009, 11:50 pm QUOTE(de.crystal @ Nov 19 2009, 11:25 PM) of course, i studied the market. Haha..good to use Maxis as a platform to learn. It's good to have the fundamental rather than alot of others who just put their money in without knowing what r they buying. Ask those people around..some don't even know why they buy warrant. They will tell you they buy cos 'its hots, got ppl goreng" then later only know the warrant expiring and become useless cos the exercise price is not attractive. This is my 1st ever shares investment. Hehe and am using this as a tool to learn how the market functions. How good if i was daring enough to play margin, 50k units and could earn a least RM1k buying at RM5.3 and selling at RM5.5 Lols, but Maxis seller didn't queue much at RM 5.30, and still you need to wait for your queue. With your bulk buying it might surely push up the Maxis share as seller wanted to sell higher. So again, when you wanna sell at RM 5.50, you still need to have your queue and possible won't be able as buyer always wanted to buy low, at the region of below Rm 5.45 Again, of course, the rule is you have more bullets, you get to reload more often and shoot. but..always take calculated risk when your in share market. QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Nov 20 2009, 08:55 AM) Maxis dividend policy targeted payout ratio of not less than 75% of its consolidated PAT (Profit After Tax). I see, by when do you think they will declare dividends? When would be their financial yr end? Thanks |

My neigbours apply 20000 & 30000 units of Maxis IPO share via white form managed to get it. Now making unrealized 5 digit profit ady.
Those plan to hold Maxis shares for mid term, can consider hold till Feb 2010, coz Maxis have postpone its company year end annual dinner to next year Feb 5 2010 This is the 1st time happen de coz usually the annual dinner alwys on Dec de...The reason for the postpone, i heard is to annouce Maxis good news to boost Maxis share market, maybe will annouce give good dividens etcs.. By right, the news should be released to Bursa then come to all shareholders.
It might not be good though most of the staff also shareholders. The " fairness" to all is important. P/S : unless all shareholders are invited to the Dinner. This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Nov 20 2009, 01:25 PM |

If what viper said is true, it may be a case of releasing insider information. It might not be good though most of the staff also shareholders. The " fairness" to all is important. P/S : unless all shareholders are invited to the Dinner. But I would be more inclined to think that the dinner announcement would be on bonuses, and not dividends la. |

What is the ratio to Dividends , I do not know. Genting groups could be exceptional. |
