Congrats! Same thing happened to me. First time apply IPO, checked without no dash= Unsuccesful
Then was about to come here to share my sadness, then heard the sifu say must key in dash.
Upon keying in dash= got 1000 shares...

Yes, I know. Planning to hold it for long term for dividend play. Still @ RM 4.70, I would say it's attractive.At least not the initial RM 5.20.. So it will have a higher chances for it to open at premium, say hovering between 4.7-5.30..well just my opinions=)

Ya the refund of Rm 0.45 cents per share. I have not received mine either. Was wondering whether will I get it from my Bank or they will repost me by bankers draft. Any1 would like to share some view?

It's good to have the fundamental rather than alot of others who just put their money in without knowing what r they buying. Ask those people around..some don't even know why they buy warrant. They will tell you they buy cos 'its hots, got ppl goreng" then later only know the warrant expiring and become useless cos the exercise price is not attractive.

Lols, but Maxis seller didn't queue much at RM 5.30, and still you need to wait for your queue. With your bulk buying it might surely push up the Maxis share as seller wanted to sell higher. So again, when you wanna sell at RM 5.50, you still need to have your queue and possible won't be able as buyer always wanted to buy low, at the region of below Rm 5.45

Again, of course, the rule is you have more bullets, you get to reload more often and shoot. but..always take calculated risk when your in share market.

u mean Rm 10 Bil rite? maxis offered 30% of its share to public via IPO, market capitilisation based on IPO price should be RM 11.2 billion. Apparently, Ananda deemed to have has interest from Maxis Berhad via it's holding in Usaha Tegas Bhd which control 4x of interest in Maxis Berhad. Correct me if wrong.

News says that Usaha Tegas will used it to reduce the debt of Maxis Communicatons Bhd that controls stake in Indonesia and India Market. One of the telco name is Aircel, the other one in Indonesia, I can't remember d.

It is to attract the foreign investor to pour in funds to our market. Besides, AK will be able to use the RM 11billion he raised from IPO to settle the debts that he raised inititially for acquisition of Aircel in India. So it is a win win situation, why not refloat maxis to the market? Of course our PM will be happy as well seeing Maxis redebut in the market as more foreign funds is expected to pour in.

Another issue would be the liquidity of Maxis stock. Floating in the market ensure the majority shareholder can have a better pricing of their share. Anyway I doubt the old shareholder of Maxis will dispose their shares.

Erm, maxis do no need to declare how the raised money will be invested. Reason is because this is not the FIRST IPO. Maxis Berhad will not be the one cashing in the raised money. The raised money will basically flowed to the SELLING SHAREHOLDER of maxis before it was relisted.

Maxis has stated it very clearly, that Maxis presently does not require additional funding for its business and thus, it will not issue any new shares under the IPO, hence meaning MAXIS BERHAD WILL NOT received any proceeds from IPO.

The proceeds from IPO will be utilised by the selling shareholder (BInariang) for other purposes such as investing in other operations and debt repayment.

Haha..ya I agree=)..One funny case. My uncle still referring 1lot= 1000shares. There is once, he ask his remiser to masuk 1lot of Mui Industrial @ 0.28. So the remiser applying the new term (1lot=100 shares), just entered 100 shares of Mui Ind for my uncle. In the end, my uncle pay more for the brokerage fee (RM42) than the 100 shares which cost him only RM 28.LOLS! My uncle sibeh , straight away change remisier..hahaa

I don't think the Dubai crisis will have any effect on Maxis shares since Maxis does not have any direct linkages..

Just got my 450 refund from MIH..CIMB cheque..wooohoo..finally...at least i know i have been alloted 1k of shares..haha
