I have one question regarding different region games.

I know most games are region free means so you can play online with a friend if he's R1 and im R3

But is there a difference in latency if my friend is in UK and im MSIA He's using R2 and im using R3 compared to both of us using R3 ?

or is the latency depending on what PSN im logged into ? Example A & B same location but use different region PSN ID will it have slower latency then to same region PSN ID ?

games are region free but online multiplayer not all are region free. U better check first before buying.

UK play with msia confirm will lag and dc like no tomolo so region compatibility is not even an issue.

Im using the samsung 2233sw...i found that when im in the ps3 menu its 1080...when comes to game..its alway 720...
For example when im playing GTA4..it just 720..jus wondering y...?...does it related with the DVI connection?

after conversion about RM1050 only.
M'sia still not launch yet. and the selling will more expensive.

not all games are 1080p, refer to the back of the box, it will state there 720p that's why it's 720p

official malaysian slim is due to be launched on 31st oct

Simple answer, no.
To keep it short and simple, you are only connected to PSN for what it is... PSN services.

Nothing to do with games.
That will depend on the servers the games are hosting at or how they are being hosted.
Also, it doesn't mean if playing with nearer people from neighbouring country means less lag all the time.
