I open mine every fortnight.
Depending on your PS3, there are revisions that has different security screws.

Mine is a CECHG model, so a torx screwdriver is needed to remove the front plate cover that hides the other screws underneath.

is it advisable to clean it through opening the PS3?
will it cause some problem to ps3?

mine is MY set 80gb tongue.gif

Honestly, it isn't.
The cooler exhaust air from the PS3, which in theory is supposed to help the PS3 in better cooling.

But what most reviewers get wrong is that they're feeling the air from the cooler itself, not the PS3. So tell me, if that helps.
Not only that, the cooler does get in the way of the PS3's air efficiency in the system to escape through its vents. Also, you're adding more noise.

In conclusion, no its not good.

yeah, u can play using the Dell 24-inch S2409W, but the sound is a bit sucks ><
so it is better if u use the av cable for sound, HDMI for video whistling.gif

Its the only way if you want to really clean your PS3.
If you know what you're doing, there should be no problems at all.

if the patches are in DLC form (expansion pack), of course it will need another license if bought using another account (not the gameshare account).

lol friends.
