I need some help with my PS3. Recently I bought a game called LittleBigPlanet, had fun for an hour or 2 before updating it. Now after updating it, I played the game and noticed that there are pixels blinking, not just small ones, but obvious ones. This only occurs for LittleBigPlanet. Also, after trying LBP, I tried inserting other games (FF13 Demo) and found out that I can no longer play it. Anyone have a clue on what is wrong with my PS3 and how can I fix it? Its Region 2 by the way.

Thanks in advance.

I think manual login is the only way you can do it, bro.

If it's a new disc, you should go back to the store and get a replacement. I thought Blu-Ray discs are designed in such a way that they have a coating that protects the disc from scratches?

Back to the issue. Well, I did bought a second hand copy of Uncharted : DF and there are a few of finger prints on the disc, so far no issue for me.

Agreed. Anyways, it's pretty rare to have scratches on new discs. If it does, then it reflects badly on the QC and the manufacturing process.

You must backup everything on external HDD first, since PS3 will reformat it when you put it in a new PS3.
