A bit quite over here... Anymore price update?

Just got mine today..can some bro share with me the settings? 1st time playing plasma tv. Did some reading on AVFORUMS but its kinda technical for now. Appreciate any form of feedback. Cheers!

i fiddle wth the settings a bit. Shd i revert back to default?

Mine is 400 hours. No IR.
Reading from avs, tv wont break in even after 600 hours

I only change setting after 200+ hours and run break in dvd to 'clean' screen sometimes.

Wah bro like that how long only can break in? My old fishtank, I check usage after 1.5 years, only about 1200 hours usage.

Run break in dvd lor. 24 x 7 = 168 hours one week

so soon racun d....still enjoyin it albeit the default setting...pic looks kinda blurry though but im sure it will be good once its 'run in'...65' sounds ideal mate but my sofa now ran outta space to push back!

Yea, only Astro will look blurry.. the rest should be good..

unless you still play VCD ler.. or VCR..

haha...not VCR or astro..its 720p upscale...some korean series...if BD its ok...

Added on October 19, 2009, 10:50 pmI was exploring the tv options and i think my tv got burn in marks after 4hrs of play time (is that possible????). Was watching some movies on my ext media player the night before with this black bar on the top n bottom of the screen throughout the show. Then, i check out the picture setting>burn in protection>horizontal and notice this blur line that resembles the black bar. Question> am i being paranoid or burn in actually happen even after 4hrs if viewing??

erm...how to check the run in time...b4 this i use -- mute,1,8,2 then power but cannot....mine 4 series oni...

In garage sale got quoted for 5250.. check it out..

I tested the demo set in HV yesterday... I thought the PQ was really good. Overall looked more solid than Pana S10K. The black level was pretty darn black and reflections looked less. But HN quoted RM7000 for the tv set only. I though it was too much. If I can get it under 6K, I will probably make the move. Nice TV!
