Don't worry, by the end of 2020 you'll probably saved up enought money for the real car while the rest of the guys are stucked with cartons of diecast cars to dust off every few months.

I hear Niko Singapore shops are selling Autoart & Kyosho at quite reasonable price, and they offer discounts to members, and sometimes they have 20% sales.

I've visited a Niko shop there once many years ago, I saw a guy & his girlfriend buying an R34, the shopkeeper brought few boxes of the car and opened each of them up for them to check thoroughly. I doubt local shops do that, guess have to do with the Tidak Apa Attitude lol.

Diecast collection is all about picking up as many dream models as you can afford. Agree with me all the Tai ko Jchue73 and other hardcore collectors ? Furthermore, some models are released in limited qty... e.g. AA Aston Martin DBR9 #009 2008 LM GT1 Winner... once you miss them you might regret for life ...

Real: 2nd that....if now dun grab,in the future sure very hard to get...if can get also ,the price will sure be very high.

I dunno, by 2020 how would we see the dream car we see today. I mean some cars like Z30, 959, McLaren F1 still looks good, some cars like Skyline GTR 30 looks abit, lao pok.

Good thing I'm not into Lemans or those DTM cars, prefer clean looks or sponsored cars with special color schemes. Tempting to buy those Japanese police sports cars.

well, this sounds kinda uncomfortable for diecasters... for diecasters, its the pleasure about collecting diecasts... we dont bother whether we able to purchase the real car onot... the aim is to be able to collect the cars we want, the cars we like and the excitement when we are able to display these cars into the cabinet... its a passion... we don mind cleaning the dust from time to time coz its the satisfaction we get everytime we manage to clean the cars...

if u don have the passion, suggest u not to spend a cent on diecast coz u will definitely regret in years to come... better save up for a real car though...

hokuan: The GTR looks very good. Seeing your pics, I'll probably go with Kyosho too and save some moolah. AA seems unattainable at the moment.

Anyway, the Lambo is the 1971 Miura Jota.

myke: Is the Kyosho silver RHD R35 that difficult to find? Evilbay got what... Else, can always get from Autoart since all their R35 models are RHD. Hey, if you want to get the Kyosho, let me know and we can go international and perhaps we can share share shipping cost. I'm actually more keen on red colour but cannot find it at a good price.
