Wow thanks for the advice. i just manage to get 60km lastnite (Average speed 60-90) smile.gif But my engine got weird air coming out at my right hand side leg there leh... U know why arr? Btw also after using big block i can't use elctric starter anymore sad.gif Any method to solve that problem?
*
my guess is tat ur fan is working overtime nw... cz ther is a small opening on the right hand side of the cover set.. tat is for a helping hand to release the air produced by the fan... normal phenomena wit rextor.. hehe

exhaust pipe bocor? check with bee hock and see how.
can use electric starter together with leg. I press and kick together, then much easier.
Use cheap one ler. RM10 per bottle only. 4 times 40 bucks only.
Mine is medium cam.
any powerband changes will be reflected from the sound of exhaust. stock cam usually sounds good at low to mid rpm, and racing cam usually sounds at high rpm. Sometimes, we can 'hear-in-dyno' instead of running on the dyno machine.
*
i hv a ques... is it necessary for us to step-up the mj/pj if we change to high cam?

Ehh bro u do all the setting and pasang block by urself?? Just curious biggrin.gif

BTW i check my Rextor timing still in stock position. U got adjust the timing ma?? howmany degree?

Added on November 1, 2009, 11:52 pm
Ermm but the cam that Bee Hock use still ok for low till mid RPM. (Pretty quiet too) But haven't try at high RPM yet .. But however 1 thing no good about high cam laa make the bike harder to start... Have to use kick start .... But if we use higher Ampere battery got enough power to fire up the engine ma?
*
m using stock position too... the last time i took to bee hock, he said he never set rextor b4... but for my experience, if increase degree, timing increase n more pikup.. vice versa if u lower degree.. btw the knob is adjusting btdc rite? do u noe the degree for stock setting of rextor?

Just 1 knob i know nia wor. Either retard or advanced timing. If stock position is in middle u adjust untill got red light comeout is stock position.

After i brake in finish i gonna advanced timing 1 degree see got what different biggrin.gif Do you try advanced timing before ma? Any different?
*
tats wat i told u.. if u increase the timing in the the knob... ur idle timing increase and more pikup... vice-versa if decrease the timing in the knob

eh dude, how's Rextor compared to BRT?
no nit remove electric starter la. Use it together with kick start. Once u press electric starter, kick at the same time.
haha, if I open shop, I only point here point there ask ppl do work, bcoz my 'handwork' sux!

If you want original 135cc, easy only. Change camshaft and valve spring.

250 degree is good enough, you'll lose some power at low rpm, but mid to high rpm will scream. This is also a mechanical mod, as it allows more air-fuel going into the engine combustion chamber.

Then increase stock carb mainjet and pilotjet slightly. I think 22.5 PJ and 110 MJ should b fine, need to trial and error a few times to get the best.
saran, something is up in my mind. I wonder if 240 deg cam works wonder on 135cc engine.
240 deg IN, 240 deg OUT, 60 deg overlap.

currently mine is:
250 deg IN, 240 deg OUT, 100 deg overlap.

less overlapping will have less power loss at lower rpm. I think 60 deg is good enough for 135cc.
*
yea.. i agree on ur theory on overlapping but then dun u thnk the end of powerband is slightly reduced although u can increase ur low-end power... hmm.gif

wat i told bout rextor is based on my experience... i onli tried advance til 2 degrees... and retard onli try one degree coz if retard my bike engine mati.. cannot idle...dunno y?? rclxub.gif

135cc engine is a long stroke one. The piston will stay longer at TDC, overlapping is more effective compared to 58.5mm or 60mm.
what kind of powerband you want actually?

If you don't mind to sacrifice low-end, the Thailand cam that I am using now should be fine. Can rev up to 8000rpm easily with 28mm carb. Anything above 8000rpm is a bit sluggish.

330 deg that I was using, 8000rpm (250 deg) only start to boost, all the way up to 11krpm. LOL. That time I was using 15-42 sprocket and 3rd gear can pull near to 130kph.
*
the remaining powerband above 8k rpm is my worry.. but since we dun alwiz full throttle, tis should make sense... i want a smooth powerband al the way up to 9k at least but then its almost impossible.. laugh.gif

Yeah you're rite.... a few of my friends bought this type of bearing too, they told me it's good..... the price is around Rm 120 without installation. So far so good, it
spins lighter and smoother compared to the original bearing....

Hey guys, Many of thinking that 125z is too fast compared to 135lc. Thats wrong, today i have tested a fully stock 125z vs stock 135lc with rear disc break (this will reduce the pickup as you know).. Surely 125z has the pickup, it gave about 5m gap to 135lc BUT at 3rd and 4th gear, 135lc easily smoked 125z... did i mention that both bikes were only used for >5000km.. 135LC owns!!!!
*
sure or not bro... biggrin.gif cn i get to ride the 125z in tis case?? tongue.gif

faito should be good enuf... if ur willing to lose some 'originality' then u can go for 125z clutch springs.. brows.gif but u have to grind the holes in the clutch plate coz these springs are slightly bigger in diameter.. smile.gif
