hey look. i found that my previous prob not from proc. its ram unstable (blend test prime95) with 4 core unlocked. but stable in blend test with 3 core. any idea?

isn't it obvious that it's d chip causin stability issue when ur able to blend test stable w/ 3 cores while unstable w/ 4 cores?

normal work no prob. surf internet, bla bla. blend test it freeze( random pattern on lcd). freeze on win 7 exprerience index also

It is much better if you set it manually in bios. Try 1.34v for a start. Test stability using prime95.

If stable then try 1.33v. Do all over again until you find the lowest stable vcore.

i no oc nb, ht link is max 1000mhz. or need tweak something

when the 1st time i try to unlock my procs its very2 hard, cant boot into window,no matter wht im do in bios its still dont work, very upset & i tot my procs hv a bad core, i try about a week until 1 day i try play with core % in bios (forgot the name) guest wht?im able to boot to window
prime for many hour also no hang, freeze or etc..after that no need to set the core % also can run window smoothly, i dun know how it happen but till now im running my rig with 4 core + L3 cache activated ..just try & try like me, if u r lucky enough u can get ur 4th core

example % u use?. i got a few time play with % such as combo %2, 2, -2, 2 or %-2, -2, -2, 2 or sumething but no positive reaction.

Added on August 3, 2011, 1:08 amand did ram timing, ganged unganged mode of ram, ram mutiplier does effect on unlock. i more suspicious on ram now. but it stable =.=

this one probably need huge effort to try out.
let say set to per core, every core try with every %...

now i know why my voltage keep resetting at 1.4v.Asus Epu punya pasal now stable at 1.320v

no hit a luck combo. already play with about an hour. any succesfull combo to share? phenom 720

d unlocked core having "bad communication" w imc hence d failure in blend test. small fft itself can't justify "total stability". blend test is d more complete test for MD imo.

u need lotsa time to try it out, 1 hour is nothing seriously. from what i remember, +/- 2%, 4% & 12% worked best for d chips i used to unlocked.

grr...i think this is mobo limitation. nvm i just using it with 3 core at 3.6ghz. at least no crash or freeze.
