haalo can someone help me i want to change mobo below rm350  which one too choose im using p555be,

asusnm4a87td/usb3

ga 880 gm-ud2h

msi 870a-g54

i think the current asus one u meantion can unlock it properly. mine is the older model from that one, see my signature.

this is mine, unlock 550 BE to B50
btw just want to ask, why i saw others unlock but the socket is am2+. is it related with mobo ? 1 more, what is the best of time to stress the cpu ? i mean how long ? 1 hour is enough ? or lower than that ? i stressed about 20minutes and the temp is about 59-60C. is it ok ? or want me to exceed about 1 hour for stress using standard stock ?

im using the msi u listed..the turn down is the memory clocking.. but the good thing is it will support upcoming bulldozer processor..
so my vote goes to that..

stress using prime for 1 hour..
20mins and 1hr temp shouldnt differ much if u have a proper ventilation..
custom > time for each FFT = 1

or if u want to cut it shorter,
click on small FFT test > custom > time for each FFT = 1
2nd option around 30mins enough already.

well.. cant comment on that cuz never tried..and also tat stress tool is not widely used..

for blend preset, (no alteration on setting) i think need like 3hrs to determine stability..
for me, i change the time to use for each FFT to 1..and 1hr is sufficient..

(well.. "Stable" is very subjective... some ppl prime for 12hrs.. some ppl only able to do daily task ok already..for me 1hr enough.. so it depends on u )

already try stressing about 1 hour. the temp is about 63C maintain with standard heatsink. no any fans turn on. i mean my "kipas" syiling. biggrin.gif. just the casing fans + heatsink do the job. i think my room temp without syiling fan is about 30C.

yes stuck at the post screen. actually, i just found out that everytime i shutdown, & close the power off at my PSU, it will appear this problem when i want to start up. otherwise, if shutdown but don't turn off at the PSU, it will seems ok. is it related with my PSU ? i think my PSU working just fine. I don't see any problem with others issue.

i had the same problem last time..but different mobo.
it was with dfi fxb.. have to push reset button to turn it on..

i think was solved by updating bios and turning off the CnQ last time.. (too much CPU NB volt also will causes this last time )

for ur case, not so sure, but just update bios 1st and see how

i already update asus official firmware to the latest one but i just take note that when i only TURN OFF the PSU switch off, then I noticed that it will hang when to start the pc at the post screen. otherwise, it works well then. something wrong with my mobo ? this prob occurs when im in older bios & the latest bios official firmware.
