Below are the folks that are interested at the moment.

mypalm - 1 unit
sskelviny - 1 unit
mys_terious - 2 units
khchong81 -

Can all of you confirm purchase with a deposit say 50% i.e. $300. Have not done bulk buy before so am just shooting off a number here. I am planning to get my unit this Saturday if possible.

Hi KianWee,
Appreciate it if you can let me know which shop you got your units from and the person to talk to. This would help with negotiation since you done most of the bargaining already. Thanks.

so what exactly was the problem? Mind to breakdown the solutions?it may be useful for others in future if they face same problem

i just got my chance to test out my POHD very impressive with it...was using WDTV earlier & i feel its well worth the upgrade...

Loading time on my 1TB hdd was so much faster altho with the WDTV i was using ext hdd..i think not fair to compare but being able to store hdd internally is one huge advantage on the POHD

the HDMI cable tat came with the package is a lot 'smaller' in cable size compare to Monster M1000HD..havent tried swaping & try so dunno if it'll make any difference

re the heat issue i was worried about earlier...suprisingly its a lot hotter on the top of the casing than the bottom..guess its well constructed to pass heat thru the body of the unit rather than heat concentrating at bottom where the hdd is mounted...guess no need to elevate it smile.gif

overall extremely happy with it!

He had to press "TV SYS" button on the remote a couple of times until the problem disappeared, and the player boot up as normal again. Scared the hell out of him. It was an issue which some of the POHD users (very few I believe) had also experience per the official AC Ryan forum below.

http://www.acryan.com/forums/viewtopic.php...t=1674&start=40

Funny thing is coincidently they were using Sharp LCD, and my friend also uses this LCD. Was wondering that could it be a handshaking issue with this particular brand? But again, it was resolved thankfully.

I am also using the same HDD type now. So far so good...quite cooling actually. However, I place my POHD vertically.

I have no more space in my room rack. So I had to put it beside my TV, which makes sense to put it vertically.

No other special reason.

Come on guys, who else is interested in the bulk purchase.
Probably if we buy the HDD, it could be cheaper as well.
Anyway, where are we going to get this eh?
Previous owner, we would appreciate if you could mention your purchase price and the warranty that comes along with

yes, after my discussion with k8118k, RM 610 is very reasonable price after put in all the hardware, handling costs and profit margin.
