QUOTE(hanz08 @ Jul 17 2009, 11:35 PM) BTW do i have to uninstall CCC before installing Ati Tray Tools? will it be better and user friendly as i'm not too familiar with ccc's configurations and options. You can run both at the same time. CCC is easy for me if you know what to do, I can't really tell whether it would be better for you, you can try it. Both are similar only the ATT is lighter than CCC (its placed on tray, hence the name), plus it have more (advanced) option too |

Other then that, Athlon have 2 P-state while Turion have 3, which make it benefit more from the amd CnQ technology. This post has been edited by InFe_eD: Jul 18 2009, 11:04 AM |

#Najmod: Congrats on your opening of this threads, I'm sure this k40ab WOULD GET VERY HOT here (pun very much intended
About the fusion part, I bet you wouldn't notice any different in the futuremark score but it did help to achieve better framerates in games and reduce stuttering as well. |

If you want to run games select P0 and both its core and select apply. This way you can save the power more, since in desktop it would be limited to 1.05GHz no matter what the load isScreenshot added on 2nd post |

Ohh yeah, I do aware that this lappie is quite hot under heavy load, but how about the volume? When idle does the voice emission noticeable, and while under load does the noise become unbearable?
#Hanz, mind telling us how are the battery life b4 and after your tweak? And your heat too |
