2k is a good bargain but im afraid the machine will overheat after playing games with long run.

Any high-end graphic card would be very HOT  (pun intended  )

To these people who complain, find me another laptop that can play Crysis, DoW2, Prototype for under 2k AND with 2 years warranty. And Please Do aware that when gaming, every computer would get hot, it's the gpu that under the most stress there.

any guide on how to game long periods without the game shutting down???

i'm always on ac power, using a cooler
i suspect it's not overheating problem since the laptop did not shut down, just only the game ends by itself

the game just exited by itself, sort of BSOD
laptop didn't shut down it is still running
it is completely new so no clogged vents here......

the game is left 4 dead
but i did not have this problem on a pc......
same dvd used to install

Anyone's k40ab reach 90 degree???

My Compaq amd can reach 90 degree with normal usage like msn and firefox and can reach 95 degree if I play dota...

if you undervolt the cpu and use a laptop cooler, you can get the results below

surfing 55
movie 63+
gaming 70+
note that you won't feel the heat anywhere but only the upper right part of laptop which feels warm.
keyboard, touchpad and palm rest perfectly cool. 

i second the fact that people would prefer laptops to come in freedos rather than preinstalled vista~~ That alone makes the laptop RM300 cheaper! Then again there was this time where a sales guy at a Lenovo shop tried to suck my blood by offering me an installation of pirated Vista for RM200 =.=  He must be thinking that I'm some guy that came out of the jungles or something
