At 4.0ghz only SuperPI can survive...no matter what volts for the CPU I pumped, it still shuts down the PC...

For the 4.0Ghz tests I almost near to 1.75v, but to no avail in achieving a stable bench for 3DMK06...But gladly, I managed to complete SPI within the high voltage which I was pumping...
I don't know if its a mobo, CPU or chipset limitation or PSU, but for sure, pumping higher volts had almost always shuts down the PC....When I mean shut down I mean <1.695v I manages to boot into windows but cannot 3DMK06 bench...but when I put 1.7v-1.75v, the PC will shut down after POST...almost 97.21% of the time....
at 1.7v for 4000mhz, the power usage would be around 190-210+ watts and the graphic card would almost hit 200++ easily...
I unplugged everything thing except the ones need to run the PC also to no avail.... :/x
After around 1++ hour playing at 1.7v, I decided to backoff to 1.61v and started benching 3DMK06 at only 3700++ mhz....
32m stable @ 4.0GHz w/ 1.50v only, i'm really impressed sir...
for 3d mark thingy could it be one/two of d defective core unable to catch up d clock? i'm pretty sure u'll manage to run 06 @ 4GHz w/ dual core w/o sweat...

Always shuts off....maybe its temp maybe its PSU or the most likely is the mobo not able to sustain a high clock speed...or maybe, I'm not good enough for my CPU
