d kingmax is 1333 only, but can clock way better than normal 1333 kvr. corsair dom mite run on elpida hyper chipset, very gud in mhz + luv low volt. but in return, u gotta pay more. kingmax w/ d9 still better in price/performance ratio imo.

i'm no ram guru, but if rma i think i can help a 'lil...

avoid heatspreader, get those cm chipset coolers (rectangular type) instead & cool 'em usin high cfm fan. should be able to cool 'em down effectively. some ram chipset can take high volt but i prefer high mhz @ looser timin at anytime coz less volt needed. a 0.5v bump won't go to d extent of killin ya ram but it mite degrade 'em over time. from ddr2 lesson (especially tracer) u can know how those bling2 sticks died, can't u? mebe i've stayed here (sgp) long enuf that's why i'm kiasi.

very nice oc there bro... if only u can show dc oc, i'll ask u guys to grab one pair for me... not bein greedy, 1700 @ 7-7-7-x w/ ~1.7v prime stable is considered very3 gud ledi...

my ex twinmos need ~1.9v, my ex tracer need ~2.0v while reaper 1066 is around 1.95v iirc sis...

plannin to go back to dfi ddr2, negotiation in progress...

not that it's not fun or challengin sis, but i'm currently limited by ram's capability. change of ram spells more moolah needed, my current financial situation is in RED ALERT, so...

some more, i believe ddr2 1066 @ 5-5-5-x is better than ddr3 1600 @ 9-9-9-x.

and last but not least, it's a change from biostar to dfi we're talkin bout here...

still negotiatin d deal thou, not yet materialized.

trust me bro, pushin khx w/ god know what chipset they used is way harder than pushin kvr w/ decent chipset like elpida or d9 (if get lucky). not so sure bout 2gb module thou coz those that i've tried were all 1gb module.

yalor bro... mebe we all don't have luck in khx only...

ermm... u can always try to bench @ > 4.0GHz, not a mammoth task but not too easy either sis...

almost all intel chips can bench @ > 4.0GHz w/o sweat...
