in aod, value showed in voltage = cpu vid.

*vcore = cpu vid + over voltage

in ya case, ya over voltage mite = auto, that's why ur gettin 1.456v (refer*) which have been round up to 1.46v (in cpuid) > normal mah rite? smile.gif

that was a loan chip. too bad it can't be unlocked at all, but as dually it clocks pretty well. 4.1GHz was a no go even @ 1.44v, i had only few hours to test thou. mite be able to push it a 'lil further if given more time but now d chip is w d owner ledi... sad.gif

wish to bro but lets not put high hope on it coz i'll be dead happy if this chip can do 100MHz less than ya ex cpmw. just changed to a cheaper cooler yesterday in cm hyper 212+ (in push-pull config), do slightly inferior to mugen 2 but minus d troubles when i swap chips. tongue.gif

anyone here want a mugen 2? laugh.gif

it was a loan chip bro, not mine. was kinda surprised too it managed to reach 4.0GHz within 5 reboots. 1st attempt, 3.6GHz, then 3.7GHz and 3.8GHz. prime @ 3.9GHz w/ stock vid resultin a reboot. up vcore to 1.376v, run for 1 hour. then take ss b4 stoppin p95. after that tried 4.0GHz w/ same voltage, another instant reboot after p95 start. up voltage to 1.392v & whack multi to 20x in bios, voila... as easy as ABC... tongue.gif

gud thing bout be chips is they work pretty well w/ aod, even on value board like biostar. locked chips suck w/ aod on biostar... sad.gif

what's d volt needed for quad @ 3.6GHz? hmm.gif

not so sure bout dfi ddr3 but biostar ddr3 board sure doesn't like high htt oc. i can easily hit 3.7xGHz (3d benchable) w/ ddr2 (790gxe 128m) but on 790gx a3+ i hardly reach 3.6GHz. jeez... defeated d purpose of upgradin to ddr3 hence change of chip is inevitable... tongue.gif

it was hard to let go d x4 810 thou... a chip w/ capability of doin 1GHz prime stable OC (from stock) is kinda rare to me. sad.gif
