i mean through wi-fi/wlan wor, not through 3G or edge or gprs.

@dauf87, when u load youtube, it opened through Jet's Media Player, right? not from the browser? the quality that i got from the video quite poor.

flashing across s8000 -> s80003? [yes]

or s800x asian -> s800x europe? [no gua]

another way is that if u need to go for warranty, reflash back the firmware according to the model/region when you first bought it.

is the gps navigation reliable? like someone here mentioned must reflash the firmware to europe edition to obtain the gps application. Even so, the gps program doesn't work fully for malaysian maps. So I'm a bit concerned about this. Anyone willing to test out their gps and clarify for this issue?

mine already update to S8000 so cannot try it, anyone with S8003 wanna enabled Navigation Software, try this :

1- press *#6984125*# well open admin screen

2- go to Internals and then enter master key *#9072641*#

3- go to LbsApp and then go to Navigation and if it is disable then enable it

the phone will restart and its done.. then the navigation icon appears in the menu..

or if its not appear in the menu icon, please open settings>>phone settings >>navigation>> TURN ON

hmmm, i planning to get one in christmas time. This 1699 price is ap or original? only FMG and brightstar are the original distributor for samsung.

AP is it? i believe most ppl are going to opt for original for this pricey phone.

Went to Samsung Lowyatt yesterday. As mentioned by the salesman, for Samsung phone, there is no AP set. The diff is between FMG and Brightstar. If the guaratee card is from FMG, means that u can go to anywhere Samsung Service Center in Malaysia. Brightstar guaranteed is only covered KL area only. (But i`m not is correct or not..hehehe)

The price at Samsung Lowyatt is RM1799. if u use credit card is 1800. Plus another RM1.

Atlast i got to hold the JET..vERY impressive!!!
