k.fai not only mealworms but crickets also can. like me i can;t find crickets here so i feed them meal worms.

and sumtimes i will hunt for house lizards, i don't fee the whole lizard but just take the tail and i let go of the lizard so i can have a new tail when it regrows.

but don't use traps to get the lizards, u have to use the rubber band technique.

only true kampung folks know how to use that technique. just to stun the lizards and not kill it.

i thing that amuses me with scorpions when they are exploring the tanks is that they like to knock on the wall.

it is like they are trying to find a place where the wall is thinner so that they can punch a hole through it.

hey ryo, congrats on the opening of the new thread.
about the c.marga thing, please let me know if there was anything going wrong.i understand the availability if the particular species, and i have to thank you for the effort of bringing in the species.but i hope we as a newbie has the chance to own of keep this wonderful species.the bark is the only one available other than LQ,so which would you think suits more for the beginner?we both know and go through before the feelings of the eagerness of getting new scorpion species, other than spinifers.
anyway, very very sorry for my friend of handling the bark scorpion, dont worry, i believe these kind of act will be occuring no more.
i really love the thread as well as the communities, but then my time is just limited, hetic study life.
sorry ryo for all the mess.no hard feelings yea.
also, looking forward to the hottentotta,my costa rican is missing you already..

an enclosure right beside my bed.

basically i can kiss the thing if i turn my head.

i am very sensitive to sound and if the scorpions is taping the wall enclosure i can wake up and see what it is up too.

the enlcosure is devoid of any decorations has a water dish and a food dish which has 1 or 2 mealworms inside.

U can remove the mealworm le...
If she ady finish giving birth she probably already gain back her nutrient after consuming the babies, having mealworm inside may lead to stress

QUOTE(HyourinMaru @ Jul 11 2009, 09:58 PM)
The mom may nid it.If it cant find any food it may consume its splings.Even u wanna feed u shud try akagidemon way to let the mom go for the food rather than u feed it cos this may stress her and may end up more spling devoured
*
If the mom wanted2 regain lost nutrient she ll do it right away after birth and will eat the babies which is nearest to her instead of going out exposing herself with the babies to predator to search for food so her scorp probably ady eaten le
