Go to Settings/Usage and U'll see how much data U've used; apparently if ur phone's jailbroken the gauge meter isn't too accurate.
@mac.tay,
Makes no difference now and a couple of weeks I guess. And it's sista!

@icechiller555,
All Maxis iPhones are officially unlocked sets; whether or not it's purchased via a contract or not |

@ashin83,
It's good to keep a tab on ur usage; just check out the meter gauge in ur iPhone. I notice Maxis bills U for whatever you've used but come month end, it'll be re-credited out hence it'll all balance up. I too am waiting for my Maxis bill to make sure there's no wrong charges *smiles* but ah well... I'm patient |

@zeropulse,
If you're signed on to iData 2 plan U should have 500MB of data. Hence if you've used up only 414MB you're still within the limit. Give them some time to investigate and I'm sure they'll reverse the charges. What you should complain now is that you're being inconvenienced because of a mistake they've made as U now bear the consequences of not having an active phone line. |

@zeropulse,
As long as the $ is clear then it's fine cause the RM100 can always be used for the next month |

@zeropulse,
Er.. 22MB would cost U about RM220 if I ain't mistaken. If U aren't latched onto a plan ur rates are 1sen/kb otherwise it'ls 0.5sen/kb. |

@megatron007,
In that case I don't think it's Maxis's fault hence U'll need to pay. I too was slapped with some form of payment but I was aware of it; I just didn't know it was gonna be 1sen/kb. Anyhow, I terminated my RM99 Unlimited plan when I picked up my i3GS and the iData plan was activated immediately so I shouldn't have to pay for additional data services this month unless my usage exceeds the pro-rated 500MB I have. |

@zeropulse,
If U think you've been over-charged, ask Maxis to give you a breakdown. I'm sure they can do that, right? |

@MikeX,
If you're not currently on a contract with Maxis, U should be able to convert your existing plan to iValue 1 plan. As to how much you need to pay, please refer to Post 1-3 of this thread. |

@Double_Ace,
There's no installment plan by Maxis for Hotlink users. U could try with your Credit Card company to see if they can offer U installment plans though. |

@Secret Choong,
Do a comparison with your current DiGi call rates and Maxis call rates (for the particular plan U intend to sign on) and U'll know roughly whether it'll be sufficient. |

@idoblu,
Ah well.. U haf a year more before ur plan expires right?! Perhaps Maxis might come up with something then, or reduce the cost *shrugs* Maybe they'll extend iData 2 plan and charge RM50 instead? *shrugs* |

@znoop26,
There's nothing to complain about as it is Maxis's prerogative how they want to sell/market the iPhone here. Apple doesn't look into such nitty gritty details; am sure it's the overall contract they look at! |

I don't believe Maxis will allow you to transfer ownership of the iPhone.
Also, according to the person @ Machines, as long as U have the Maxis Service Card it is good enough to make warranty claims; otherwise U will need the actual owner to do the warranty claims. |
